Nikkit: I feel for you as you have been up and down i hope this sweep works for you.

I just dont seem to feel anything apart from the bit of period pain i joked lastnight that im just fat not pregnant bump is so quiet but i can wake he/she when i start to worry. My MW said i can go to 43 wks but i feel like i cant go another day:(

Im doing nothing today apart from washing and cleaning oh what fun!

I had a bad cold at the start of my last pregnancy and strained my stomach muscles by coughing soo much - Midwife said to hold ( cuddle like a teddy ) a pillow/cushion on your stomach before you could help the pain and strain

I know what you mean about the pelvic floor muscles I am almost 14 weeks and still being violently sick ( + have stress incontence when I am being sick :eek:)

thanks for the pillow advice, i've just been holding bump with hands. Need more hands tho - two to hold bump and none for the tissue to catch the sneeze... its not pretty! :rotfl:
I've basically had a combination of stress and urge inco since bein pg with DS 9years ago (but who admits to that at 20yo!?), getting worse with DD 4years ago. Finally got the courage to speak to GP about it, she refered me to an inco nurse specialist who was excellent, lots of excercises and a 'pelvic floor educator' (basically a plastic thing you put inside, with a long thin piece that stays outside while doing the exercises, helps you to visualise what you're doing). Reckon once the baby's here and after BF etc once i start losing weight again i'll go back and see her for refresher type class!

I then lost weight, it all got a lot better, I put weight back on and now with pg number 3 its all gone to pot again! :eek: ASDA have Always envive on offer at the moment tho for a £1 for 18very slim, very good, pads.

Sorry if TMI! Just seems such a taboo type subject, even when there are probably loads of us on here who know what i mean! lol

Happy due date LMF:) Hope things get moving for you, fwiw I always found baby went quite before labour! Although 'they' say baby should stay active etc so if you feel concerned get checked out:)

Internet is a nightmare lately 5 mins on 20 off, it's driving me mad, we are getting Virgin on tuesday so hopefully it will e working properly then.

I am making an effort to have a healthy lunch, although I have already eaten a donut and 2 packets of quavers:o But am having ham salad and a jacket potato for lunch:rotfl:

I am getting excited about baby now, it has taken me a while to get used to the fact that we are having another so close to ds3 and then to find out it is a girl has also been a shock.

Smartie - With ds3 I had bleeding from 10wks until about 22wks because of low lying placenta. I was petrified because I had previously had 2 mc's, he is now 11mths, so not all bleeding is bad, but if I were you I would badger teh midwives to get you into epu (I did, twice)

Back from MW , all done , sweep done , she said she couldnt do any better than she did , so fingers crossed , got lots to do cleaning and tidying up so here goes wish me luck that it helps ,

Labour vibes for nikkit and whoever else wants them!

My sister is currently here, she and my mum had an arguement and my mum kicked her out so she stayed over last night. So we're going into town today to see if we can find her somewhere to live.

Am currently sat on my gym ball, keep having pains though had some pains last night but they stopped after about an hour.

Right im off, prob wont be on today again

eek fly by post as MW is packing me of to day assessment unit as have more protien in my urine and now sugar too, no idea what it means for me! Just flown home to have a v quick sandwich as Im starving and and get some money for parking. Feel ok so hoping it wont mean anything major. Baby is all good measuring fine and HB ok, my BP is fine to so all a lil odd.

Hi ladies

Labour vibes for those who need them.
I'm just having a very brief read of the posts.
Just back from my 20 week scan -Baby is fine and healthy so I don't have to worry myself now although I didn't get to see much as baby is all squashed into a little ball.I want a surprise so didn't ask babys sex ,they note sex not disclosed on the notes which is good as my cousins have been pestering me to tell them what I'm having &refuse to believe me when I say I honestly don't know .I can show them my notes now.
