Haven't been on for a bit- its been a bit hectic.
I am going in to be induced tomorrow morning, which is exciting but also a bit scary. Had a sweep yesterday, consultant was very pleased and said it was all favourable and then had pain and lost plug.. so... hopefully everything is fine. Its exciting though- I should be a Mummy by Monday morning!!!
I then have to stay for 3 days for observation but then I will be home with our little one
Sorry if I am jumping my place in the queue:jMummy to 2 small 4 year old bundles of mischief!:j0 -

With the last one i managed entirely with tens and gas and air until the last 20 minutes then it just got to much for me and i begged for pethadine they gave it me but wish they hadnt as it didnt take effect until after bubs had come out mind you it meant he slept for a good long time after the birth so i could get my head down too i suppose there is a silver lining to everything :-)
Yeah thats what I am hoping to do, just have a total open mind and see how I fair, everyone is different.

Evening all,
I think I give up trying to sleep at night, it's just so uncomfy and I don't even have much of a bump yet! Tried sleeping with a pillow between my legs but I turn over too much so it just gets in the way. I just crave sleeping on my back! arrghhhh.
Just watching that My fat gypsy wedding on 40d and can't believe the dresses, how insane.
Easy labour vibes to you KT and I hope things get moving for you too Nikkit.0 -

Well it was either a very easy birth or she just likes pain. Mind you a little healthy competition may be good for you when your in pain I know if someone tells me i cant do it it makes me all the more determined.
Try singing whilst having a contraction you will think now that you may look like a complete div doing that but it does work suprisingly well. Midwife looked at me gone out as i kept singing the rainbow theme tune it was the only thing i could remember the words to other than the i like big butts song and i didnt that would be appropriate lol ;-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
my vote is for curry

Back from a looong day out
Me and Sis went to council and they have said she has to go into a hostel but as they have no spaces at the moment she is in a B&B until there is a space for her. And they are paying for it all for the time being as she is under 18.
The B&B she is staying at doesn't actually do breakfast so we joked it was just a 'B' :rotfl:
But we went shoppingsWent to poundland for just some hand gel, and spent £10. Got to the till and i didn't have my card so had to put it on my credit card  OH text me to say he had it though, so that was lucky
Got some PJ's from Primark for hospital, a PJ set reduced to £2 and a PJ top reduced to £1
And then my sis bought me a maternity T-Shirt saying 'I love my bump' from H&M (for £12.99  ) the shocked face cause im due in 16days! :rotfl:
Kindof - We had chinese last nightHad chicken curry, fried rice and some chips, it was lovely
hehe.
Good luck KT, and labour vibes for Nikkit!0
