Thanks Redstar - I just emailed the call centre so if I don't get any joy from the supervisor who is supposed to be sorting it for me then I might try that. Will definitely do that first if I do decide to order with them again as well. I always email coz I think it will be easier but it ends up being more stressful waiting for replies etc

    Hello everyone
Hope you're all doing well. Sorry to hear about your other half SS....hope things sort themselves out as you don't need this kind of stress at anytime; let alone when you're pregnant. :(
Have been busy bouncing on the ball today and am sure I've felt some different kinds of movements from the baby bump. What's this one about pineapple and some sort of special tea to help bring on labour? Haven't tried those yet.
Had my hair cut and coloured today so feel fabulous and as I had my nails done last week I am physically ready for birth! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    :love:Baby Bump born 4th March 2010! :kisses:
  • Morning all !Yes I really am up at stupid o'clock.:) I felt awful yest so as soon as dd went to bed at 7 I crawled into bed myself.Feel a bit better, but my face hurts from my sinuis (sp?).Nd to kick this cold quickly so I can be fit and well for labour.:D
Midwife came rd yest and all is well, little lady has moved down a bit further and is now 3/5th engaged.Midwife said that Sat 27th is a good day to go into labour as she's on duty then!:rotfl:

SS I'm so sorry to hear what your going thru,my his timing is fab isn't it?I also believe he's freaking out a little and fantasizing about a new and exciting life. The reality will be v different to what he is imagining.I know it's hard but try to stay calm and try not to be clingy etc as you deserve so much more than this.I'm sure if you back off and give him a bit of space he'll soon see which side is bread is buttered on.Big huggles!

Pleased the move went well cafcgirl, best wishes

Guinea,I am so jealous of your new haircut and funky nails!I desperately want my hair cut but my hubby and dd had theirs done last month and so there was no money left for me.:oThis month as been v expensive so I can't really justify it now either.Bah!;)

I really don't want to use them again now - think I'll look into Sainsburys and Ocado and see if they look much dearer. The silly thing is I would have order £50 - £70 worth of shopping every couple of weeks but now they've lost my business by being so petty over a couple of quid!

I've never had a problem with Sainsburys. And every so often they send you £10 off certain amount spend which is nice.

Morning Mums and Bumps :D 38 weeks today woohoo, moving up to 4 RLTs today and then once I've seen MW and gotten my Nursing Bras tomorrow I'll happily take some labour vibes hehe.

Well not such an early rise this am (6.30), but maybe I should have cos had a very fustrating night! OH kept rolling into the middle of the bed and pushing me out, and his snoring! Good god I wanted to throttle him lol.

Guinea - am real jelous you got your nails done, I was supposed to have mine done 2 weeks ago by SIL but she was called into work last minute and then hasn't gotten back to me. Have had the tresses done, tho nothing amazing but feels good getting it tidied.

Twinkles - my OH thinks baby Girl is gonna put in an appearance on the 27th too, how cool would that be if their both right hehe.

CAFC - yeay for being all moved, looks like you'll be busy unpacking/decorating for a bit tho. Am so jelous cant wait to get into a 2 bed, its a wee bit squished here now! Woot for getting your exemption card at last, tho please dont wait for the toothache to come back to do something about it.

Gill - boo at Asda, thats really poor behaviour. Have only had 2 deliveries from Tesco, but so far very happy. Had substitutions yesterday as I'd forgotten to tick the no subs box when ordering, but was quite pleased as tho we got more expensive items they price matched them so cost us no more :D Debating trying Sainsburys next week tho as I have a £10 off first shop, will have to look and see how easy there system is to use. I like Tesco as with the clubcard all my regular items are dead easy to find.

Kitkat - havent yet watched the second ep but the first wasnt graphic at all, Home and Health on sky is much worse imo.

Kindof - you could be right about the Ts I remember the site where we had to choose the design from being in $. Wonder what the Pushchair was they wanted trialing?

Got more clothes when we visited in laws last night, two huge shopping bags! Lots of cute stuff just need to find homes for it all now! Also picked up the two crochet blankets, there so cute and the smaller one is perfect size for the car seat. Am sure baby girl has enough clothes that I dont need to wash for first 6 months lol.

Awww Gill (((hugs))) thats totally crap! Sometimes the online delivery people suck !!! don't they!

Kitkat - I dont want 'one born every minute' cos I think it clashes with other things I watch lol but do you have Sky? do you have Home and Health? they have shows called Baby Tales and A Baby Story and they are really good and not too graphic. Ohh Ive just Sky Plussed the Channel 4 plus 1 for OBEM

CAFC - YAY for moving, thats fabulous chick :) I am sure you will get it all painted up in no time!!!

Guinea - YAY for having your hair done and your nails done, for some random reason I started biting my nails when I got pregnant and Ive been trying to stop cos I want my nice nails back, but I dont know if I have enough time for then to grow? The tea is Raspberry Leaf Tea which is meant to make second stage labour quicker? I love the stuff lol

Twinkles - thats the same as me lol, OH whinged so much about his hair needing cuting that he's had his done and we have no money left for me, and its so long, I want it cut before I go into labour, so alhtough I want beany here I am hoping I can make it to pay day as well so I can get my hair cut lol

Well I dont know what to do today, I have just turned into a lazy bones since being on mat leave lol, all I seem to do is lay on sofa and watch tv and snooze lol then cook the tea when OH comes in lol

ETA thanks Som, I will check Sainsburys out :) I dont think we need much else :)

  • Cafc Yay for moving hope it all went smoothly

Guinea i had my nails done just before having the last bubs its a lovely pick me up.

Well the house is finished im crackered bubs didnt sleep a wink last night and i feel as sick as a dog this morning. if this morning sickness is anything to go by im having a girl carrying DD was the same i was sick for nearly 6 months with the lads it stopped pretty much alltogether at the 12 wk mark.
:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j
  • Morning ladies, been away with the kids for a few days R'n'R over half term - sat on the sofa and watched endless amounts of carp tv! including all the baby stuff on home and health! To the point where my 4yo DD sat on the reclining chair with her doll stuffed up her jumper and said 'i'm pretending to having a baby', when I pointed out the head is usually first out she told me hers would be breech!!! lol

CAFC - congrats on the move! looking forward to seeing the room pics!

Gill - thats pants about ASDA - i normally use them but have been using Tesco more recently, clubcard points and for the most part they're not much more expensive than asda. hope you get it sorted.

SS - big hugs honey, not sure what advice to give, everyone's said anything i would have thought of. Best wishes. x

Nikkit - Big Labour Vibes for you!! hope things move along a bit more today!

Thanks for the heads up re Sainsbury baby event, Boots are due to have theirs start in the next few days, never seen there's before so not sure if many bargains to be had etc.

That's me 34wks tomorrow, feeling really huge and convinced the wee one'll be early this time (first two were practically on date!). Spent yesterday building new bunk beds for the kids, now got to go rearrange their room and then find space in mine to build the cot!! Also, really got to think about packing bags! argh! so much to do and I keep realising there are things i need for me that i dont have like dressing gown and slippers...might take a trip down to asda later, been holding onto the hipg money for emergencies but think i'll have to actually use it now!

    oh well, onwards and upwards....
might go back to bed for a wee hour before i start...
