    Hello :)

I had some dinky baby BOYS socks delivered today. I had to get them as they were cheap on M&S website and I had a voucher which meant they paid me £3 to get them:D

Obviously being only 10 weeks I don't know if I'm having a boy (DH says it's a girl) so I thought I'd do the ring test and looked at all the folklore about sex of baby CLICKY HERE

And apparently I'm having a GIRL!!:rotfl:I hope she likes blue socks;)

    Hugs for SS

Eviction vibes for those who need them!

LOL I am sure she will like blue socks lol

BSM - I think the video monitors are a bit OTT but thats just my own opinion. I cant imagine I'd look at the screen all that often/or I wouldnt stop looking at it, in which case I may as well stare at her for real lol. I wouldnt spend that kinda money either, but at the end of the day your the one using it so your choice.

Kindof - totally jelous you have your pump, still no sign of the lame t shirt :( think I may email BB and ask whats happening.

Gill - I love lush products but can never afford them so nice product IMO, well better than a t shirt lol.

Well the issue with the boiler turned out to actually be an issue with the gas Meter out side and so the gas people had to be called out. They came really fast tho, and the man was originally just gonna replace the broken part but decided as our meter was so old it would need replacing soon anyhoo and gave us a new one. Its fab cos I can now actually read it without having to break my neck :) So we have hot water and heating again :D Just had dinner and ended up wearing some of it yet again lol. Tesco food delivery came, its so nice not trailing around there, and strangley we spend less so even better :D Think were gonna stick to doing it this way :D Right off to in laws now, catch ya laters x

I'm feeling very angry with Asda online shopping at the moment.

Updated the order on Monday night, which then arrived last night. Three of my items were on rollback which apparantly changed overnight. Two were frozen chicken that went up from £2 to £2.29 while the other was a curry for DH which went up from £2 to £2.98 - a 50% increase! It wasn't highlighted on the bill that these had changed, so I couldn't give them back to the driver. Infact I'm lucky I noticed at all.

I sent them an email to complain and the call centre rang to say as it wasn't an offer and the price is just estimated the store wouldn't refund the difference but as a goodwill gesture I could take them back to the store for a refund/exchange! I said that this wasn't good enough as there's no way I would have paid £2.98 for the curry (can overlook the small price increase of the chicken) and that I'm 7 months pregnant and doing my shopping online because I'm not up to going out shopping atm so definitely not able to go back to the store! He let me speak to a supervisor who was actually really nice and has said she will ring the store again and do everything she can to obtain a refund and sort the problem for me - just waiting to hear back now.

Really annoying because I'm doing my shopping online to save on stress, not add to it and it seems ridiculous that they can advertise one price on the website and then charge something different - esp when the curry was advertised on the homepage at that price with a big picture!

I really don't want to use them again now - think I'll look into Sainsburys and Ocado and see if they look much dearer. The silly thing is I would have order £50 - £70 worth of shopping every couple of weeks but now they've lost my business by being so petty over a couple of quid!

Hi, does anyone recommend watching One Born Every Minute? It is very graphic?? I am terrified with anything to do with child birth but I obviously will need to get over this fear, is this worth watching or will it just terrify me more?!?!

    Evening all

Well moved up, all the stuff is in the house, none of it is unpacked LOL Thats the jobs for the next few days :)
Gonna repaint each room as well. Obv when we saw it it was lived in, and now all the furniture/pictures have been removed, the walls are a bit marked etc, but its all do-able...

Think I did too much too quickly moving stuff, and had some bump pain but he's been moving so its ok....

FINALLY GOT MY EXEMPTION CARD!!!!! AND NO TOOTHACHE lol

Got some vouchers from Boots finally as well, but still havent got the voucher for changing bag.....

Gonna be honest ladies, looking forward to posting up my pics of bumps room, when finished, but before that gonna post up a pic of all the stuff we have for him......I'm actually gobsmacked by it!

Thanks for all the good wishes....

SS - I had a massive reply in my head reading back, and I wish I had more time to post, but you have my utmost sympathies over his behaviour. I think its a grass is greener scenario.... 9 years and he thinks he can do this to you????? You deserve so much more than that..............xx

  • Gill,
That's rubbish regarding Asda. I've had a few problems with their online shopping and they've always been quite good sorting it out. I always ring the phone number on the top of the delivery note when there are problems. A little while ago I ordered the set of 6 closer to nature baby bottles for £10, and when the order turned up nothing was highlighted. After the delivery driver had left I realised that they had sent a packet of 3 for £9, but hadn't pointed it out on the delivery note - when I rang and complained they just agreed to refund it back onto my card, and I got to keep the bottles too! If it's a different contact number, I would definitely give them another ring.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
