We have monitors, but we we're given them from our friend. I would have bought some though if we werent given any.

Its not so much the crying I will be listening out for cos I will hear that no matter whre I am in the house, I will be listening out for lack of noises, like lack of gurgling etc so that I can check on him without checking on him loads of times lol

Although when I am awake and baby has woke up in the moring he will be downstairs with me lol

See that's exactly what I don't want to do :rotfl: - be listening out for every noise / listening to check they're still breathing etc!

Have to agree with SJ as when we used the moniters with dd they turned me into a paranoid wreck!Got to the point where I had it on the loudest volume so I cld check her breathing.Honestly I could have heard her nails grow!lol:rotfl:
Best thing we did was stop using them as I didn't jump awake at the slightest noise.I'm not planning on using them with baby this time,old style for me too.:)

Evening ladies hope you are all well.

We bought a monitor and used it twice ( biggest waste of £40 we ever spent) as SJ pointed out all it did was make me paranoid and as long as we propped the living room door open we can here him perfectly well. We bought it because we are in a 3 storey house and i was worried that if i was down stairs i wouldnt here him up at the top but to be honest ive only ever been downstairs without him once when he was on the top floor and when he sleeps in the living room again with the doors open everything can be heard. :-)

Each to their own I guess, but I will be using them to begin with when I am not in the room with beany.

But I cant see me not being in the room with beany until he is older (IE In his own room?)

Kindof - I will be using a monitor too and we are only in a tiny house, tho I bought it a few years ago on sale and was hoping we'd have somewhere bigger now. Will come in handy when am BF tho cos I can use it to ask OH to get me a drink without having to shout down lol. Oh and I like a fully loaded with corn Mmmm

SJ - hope those B&H are a move in the right direction for you x Am jelous of your Fajhitas my OH doesnt like them and have fun making the cookies

CAFC - yeay for finding a house your ok with, good luck at the haggling part. I always find the cold plays havoc with my teeth too.

Had chinese buffet, was tres nommy and had loads stuffed now!

Som ive just had a quick nosy at EA's facebook looks like she has been out all day having loads of fun so i dont think there is anything to worry about. I wish i had half of her energy ;-)

Som I'm hoping so!! And no way your OH doesn't like fajitas! I thought everyone loved them :rotfl: I was considering making cookies now as DH has gone to work but don't know if I can be bothered getting up off the sofa!

EA is posting on FB so she's ok - think her and Felix have been out today. It's quiet without her!!
