Sorry to say this beenie - But your ex sounds like a complete and utter prrrk.0
-
Date on my RLT is August 2011 so I think you're safe, EA!
Beenie- that sounds rubbish. Have you tried asking on Freecycle, especially for a cot as that's the kind of thing people clear out to make more space.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Cool thank you0

Worst part is that his mother had orginally planned to give £100 towards a car seat or pram, so that's why i chose the £100 sale pram as it meant he only had to buy the cot and mattress, but he kindly told her it wasn't necessary. !!!!!!?!?! It bloody IS necessary, his family gave loads towards his other kids so why not this one? It's not his place to say it's not necessary he's only done it as he knows i'm struggling with money.
He asked me to explain where every penny of the hipg and surestart has gone - well most has gone on the car and also replacing my DS bedroom carpet which the ex ruined by having a random nosebleed on and not cleaning it up so it's stained.
But i need the car to get DS to school and he knows this so he suggested changing DS's school.
OMG, as if my poor son hasn't been screwed over enough with him taking the Wii and everything off him, but now i'm expected to uproot him from his friends to compensate for him not buying his baby a bloody cot?!?!
He's telling me to sell all my stuff (what stuff?!) on ebay to pay for the baby, why the hell should i?!?! I am always looking on ebay and freecycle for cheap/free stuff but he's got £200+ per week NO BILLS, all to spend on himself and he does a good job of that as he's also got into loads more debt and has absolutely nothing to show for it.
It is doing my head in as all i want him to do is take some financial pressure off me, or at least have been straight from the start so i could have budgeted accordingly and bought the pram myself while it was still in the sale.
He seriously expects me to do all this worrying, all the hard work with the decorating, the stressing and panicking about not having a pushchair or cot or clothes, completely on my own and expects to be able to walk in once it's all sorted and take the glory and pleasure from baby!!! I really don't want him having anything to do with her if he hasn't helped me, it may sound extreme but there's no bloody way he's walking in for the good part after i've done this on my own. I told him it's now or never and he chose never, he wants nothing to do with baby.
So basically he's that much of a scumbag he's thrown away his own child for the sake of money.
But he justifies this by saying his other kids love him  Maybe they do but they have never had to go without as his family shell out for them constantly and their mother has a rich daddy who pays for several holidays a year for them  I've been a single parent for nearly 7 years why compare me to what she has? I've never had a single penny off DS's "father" either, not one penny!!
I don't have family to help me out and especially not with money, my mother would never give me a penny it's usually the other way round even though she's on more money than me for some mystery sickness she has. (try alcoholism:rolleyes:)
p.s. feels better getting that off my chest, i hate hate hate hate hate hate hate him!!!0 -

I agree with Aless, make sure you get as much out of him as you can via child support. Let them know he earns £200 a week to himself.
So what about his other kids! This baby is still one of his children and still needs his support!

Beenie - What an absolute pillock!! and his mother sounds just as stupid for not giving him a good kick up the backside.
Perhaps all us hormonal pg ladies should meet up and gang up on him for you. He wouldn't know what was hitting him!
TBH in your position I would feel inclined to restrict access to the baby given that he clearly isn't reliable without the baby here let alone when it arrives.
Morning sickness seems to have eased off a little today so forced myself into town to do some shopping and treated myself to a boots meal deal for lunch. The new sour cream and chive mini bagel crisps thingys are so yum!!
