thanks but that's the problem...I have no idea when my last period was. I can't remember :-( For all I know I could be 12 weeks already. I suppose if they make me wait over a month I might just pay and go private.

Meh, I'm new to all this and I really have no idea what I'm supposed to be going :-(

In that case, tell the doctor that and they will probably arrange for your scan as if you are nearly 12 weeks. Not sure if they could have a feel of your pelvis as your uterus starts to lift up and out at about that time so that might give a clue?

Try not to worry...I still feel like that and I'm a day overdue!

  • Aww sidekick thats the cutest pic!!

Thanks Helen & Karen for posting ur pix so quickly, both soooo cute, I want mine now too, lol!!

Sorry Ive just caught up, been out all afternoon with sis in law to be and her 2 month old, hes so cute, still cant believe we are gonna have us one of them!!

Just a quick question, the last couple of days I have been having I guess tightenings or short pains in my groin area, not for very long each one, but they keep happening. Is this likely to just be baby moving down, just wondered if the other girls close to my due date are getting the same??

  • Sidekick- she is absolutely beautiful! I love having a niece and a nephew- it's so much fun!

Fattybooboo- I've been getting those pains. I think it's ligament pains, but not certain.

  • thank you <3 unfortunately I won't see her until I fly back home (Australia) on Dec 5th. I get to spend 1 month with her and then that'll be it for probably 2 years :(
  • Thanks GISI. How are you getting on, are you having any signs of anything starting to happen at all? I just thought, there is me asking you that, but people are already doing my head in texting and asking me that exact same thing and I am not due for another 6 days!!

:rotfl:No real signs- my back is sore this evening which could be a hopeful sign but who knows. My best friend just phoned and asked how I thought I'd cope with another week or more of being pregnant.....I asked her what else I could do?! I actually feel more relaxed now my due date has been and gone. It felt a bit like the pressure was on coming on that date, now it's gone no day is any more likely than another so I'm feeling quite chilled!

  • Lol yeh I think I know what you mean about when the due date is approaching, everyone seems to focus on that (including me, lol) when we all know full well its v unlikely to arrive then anyway!! Glad ur feeling quite chilled and hope ur sore back is a good sign :)

Poor older doggy is hiding still cos of the fireworks tonight, the big display here is on saturday so he will be even worse then :-(

It's the same with my nephew (5mths) - he is in China, he'll be over for 7 weeks as of next week (yay a week today :j) but then don't know when we'll see him next. :(:(:(:(

But Skype is a wonderful thing, it's great to be able to see AND talk to him whenever we feel like it so that is a big colsolation!!! ;) I love my chubby little nephew loads even though i haven't met him properly yet, lol! :D
