elasti - hope you enjoyed your aquanatal, I love it - apart from the socialising, I really do think it's helped me as I am still feeling quite fit. Missing it tonight as I have the NCT breastfeeding antenatal session but def back there next week - and our new house is walking distance to the leisure centre :)

Well i did enjoy it, sort of. People can be so funny can't they. WE are all there for the same reason and have a common interest but yet no one spoke. We spent near enough the whole 45 mins in silence! There was 8 of us there and 2 of us which were new. I only learnt one ladies name and that was the other new lady. The MW worked us quite hard so there wasn't really any time to chat. I tried and said a few things but didn't really get much of a response so left it.

I started to feel very dizzy and sick as we were going round and round in circles all the time. It's funny cos i don't get morning sickness with my Pg's but i suffer from awful motion sickness, i alwayd have since i was a child. One of my brothers is the same. It is worse now pg as i can't take my tablets.
A school came in for the last 15 mins and all sat on the side watching us and waiting for us to get out. They was some delightful sniggering and comments.
I managed to get myself changed which was a complete kerfuffle in the tiny changing cubicles they have there. We can't get changed in the group rooms as they are saved for the school children during school time.
I still feel rough now, That's what people don't understand with motion sickness they think as soon as you have stopped or are out of the car your fine but with me it lasts for hours after. My head is really fuzzy still.

Oh don't i moan :rotfl:The good thing is i liked the MW's advice she said right ladies you all worked really hard so if you work you are not to go back this pm i mean it! go home home lie down with your feet up have cuppa and cream cake. I like her:rotfl:Oh and i went and get a festive bake bogof from greggs after it was lush . I didn't eat both i gave one to my mum.

Elasti, sounds good! And your very restrained, i would of eaten that second xmas bake without a thought lol.

Currently i have some cream crackers with butter on, and a cupa soup. Not going to be eating until tonight anyway so thought i'd get something now :)

Oh god, i was sat on the bus in front of the smelliest woman ever, and it doesn't usually bother me, but since being pregnant my dog nose can track down any bad smell. And i get travel sick anyway and this was making it worse. And i kept yawning to so was inhaling her scent more and more!! lol!!

  • Well i am 33 wks and only just started aqua natal. My MW didn't tell me about them i did it off my own back as ds has swimming lessons at the same place. I am not sure if i will be going back, I really was quite ill.
I would have started sooner but i had ds at home then once he stated school i kept getting asked out or happened to be doing something on that day.
It was only £1.90 for 45 min which i thought was good. All the ladies seemed well into their pgs. I think the latest due date was feb. One lady was a week over due and all i kept thinking about was helens mucus waters :rotfl:and what if this woman's went while we were in the pool :rotfl:

Elasti I have tinnitus and menieres disease and people dont understand just how much a buzzing noise can knock you sick _pale_ My balance is a nightmare and being pregnants made it ten times worse, like you say it doesnt wear off either once your away from whatevers triggered it, just leaves you feeling rough for hours.

EA thats disgusting about your cereal bar. Im tempted to take mine back out of my hospital bag now :rotfl:I know what you mean too about the super dog nose, Ive had to get off the bus and wait for the next one a couple of times because someones been so smelly :o And for a while the backs of peoples heads really offended me?! If they had greasy hair or fat rolly necks. Yes, I know Im very strange!

Nikkit could you try rennies or similar? Ive had mega heartburn the whole pregnancy but found these have helped as I can take them more often than gaviscon. If it gets really bad speak to your gp and see can they prescribe you something, I remember Harley had something
