    Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j
  • Oh Helen- he is so gorgeous and he looks so like your avvy! Fingers crossed he lets you get a bit of sleep tonight.

Nothing very exciting going here except really bad lower back pain. Just had a lovely nap though- wish I could sleep like that at night, but even if I don't sleep at all in the day I still toss and turn all night!

Hope anyone having fireworks has a good night- I can hear them starting round here.

  • Boogelly and EA you two crack me up!!!! I am the same, i hate getting busses. Smelly people are the worst and i know what you mean about the back of peoples heads - when i was about 18 i remember sitting behind a young couple who had knits (or something like that), the bloody things were crawling between their heads. I was mortified, the bus was sooo packed and i couldn't move. I sat leaning sooooo far back in my seat cringing the whole time. I don't think the person next to me even realised and probably thought i had something wrong with me. I couldn't take my eyes off the things either incase one jumped on me - i would have screamed soooo loud!!!! Eurgh it's making me itch!

I hate smelly people when i walk past them now - i'm sure they all smell 10 times worse than they did before!

Since OH started working for a rail company about 3yrs ago i think i have only been on a bus just a handful of times! It's train all the way for me but then that's easy to say as we get free train travel :D

Ewww at the thought of the ladies waters breaking in the pool, lol! Mine were like water so i think Helen was lucky, lol - i remember them popping while i was in labour and they gushed all down my legs like a massive violent wee...or like a bucket of warm water was poured over them really quickly. Lol, sorry if TMI

I went out Yay - but forgot sparklers for DD, boo! Minestrone soup for dinner - DD thinks her's is chicken noodle as she won't eat it if it's called anything else and they didn't have 'real' chicken noodle soup - the joys of having a child that can't read yet, hehe!

Got my sepia so hopefully i'll feel better in a few days. The chemist lady kept telling me how important it was not to touch them with your skin...like really MUST NOT TOUCH them, lol - kind of scared me a bit!

  • ^ hehe thank you :-)

aww you're all so lovely in this forum. I only ever used to frequent the travel MSE forum and they can be quite rude over there at times :-(

I have a newly pregnant question....I have a doctors appointment on Monday (this will be my first appointment) So I will go and say that I took 4 positive tests during the week - What happens after that? Will they give me a blood test to confirm or just assume I'm correct and refer me to a midwife? I have no idea how far along I am either..I could be 2 months already so will they refer me for a scan right away? I hate the waiting game!

32b - so sorry to hear about your gran. How's your sister doing? Have you broken the news to her yet?

Karen - that picture of tegan is lovely - she's gorgeous!

EA - definitely write and make sure you tell them that you're pregnant! Much more likely to get something back that way I think. I would definitely find something like that much harder to cope with in my current sqeamish, pregnant state lol Infact I would have been running to the loo i think!!

Helen - Ethan is lovely aswell! I'm sooooo broody right now :) Sorry he's been keeping you up tho

I know what you mean about the smells - I'm having to stand right back when I speak to some of my customers at work at the moment lol. One of them nearly had me gagging today she was that bad!
