fernliebee wrote: »Aw they have really worked for me! I take 2 at a time about 5 times a day (it says 4x a day but you can't overdose as they are completely harmless and if I don't have them at those times, I feel awful!!)
I ran out yesterday and felt awful all day, and it has taken me a while to feel better today, so hopefully by tomorrow they will ahve kicked in again.
I don't care if some people think they are a placebo, they work for me and it makes it soooo much more bearable! It just contains in to morning and evening, rather than all day/ all night like it was before! Hope they work as well for you too!
Oooh the not touching them is something hippy dippy about our energy destroying the waters memory, which is apparently how they work. Sounds like mumbo jumbo but as I say they work wonders for me!They won't make you explode or anything if you do touch them, they just won't be as effective, Mine are in a 'clicky' bottle so you don't have to touch them at all. hth.
Lol, thank you, i think it was yourself who advised on them so i just had to try too- yes i told OH about the woman being adament i mustn't touch them and he said well you better not take them then, lol! I did anyway. I am not sure if they are working yet. I have had a total of 5 doses, with the first 4 i felt awful after and was physically sick within 30mins of taking them
But the last dose and i feel ok (but then again i have just eaten half a pack of cheesy biscuits
which may be the reason i feel a bit better) But i am determined to give them a chance - so will do prob another 2-3 days before making a decision whether they are working for me or not! Not given up yet, lol!
Saying that i was also drinking ginger ale from Co-op yesterday -that might have been what was making me feel worse as i absolutely hate the taste of ginger. _pale_
I am hoping and praying i get better soon as my house is getting dirtier and dirtier where i have been sprawled out on the sofaIt needs a good mop and dust! OH has been great at tidying but he just doesn't seem to see some of things i do that need a good clean. And one of the poor mutleys really wants a bath, she keeps jumping in the tub and sitting there -she used to get a weekly bath as she loves it so much and seems to get smelly quickly whereas our other doggy only ever gets a dry bath at the groomers as he is always fresh and clean (i think if he were human he'd be extremely camp, lol, he hates being the slightest bit dirty and sits with his front legs crossed all the time, hehe - he is a wimp too
)
Ok i am rambling now - sorryOff to read over the last two chatty pages since last night!

Oh Beenie that man is an utter pr*ck! Excuse my french but i hate men like that! Ask on Freecycle though as you might just get some good offers - i know it's not the same but we really needed a rabbit hutch once (long story) and i was skint -a friend mentioned there as i was panicking as we were moving and couldn't keep bunny indoors anymore. To cut a long story short i got a message almost immediately from a lady who said if i was willing to wait two weeks she'd pair her bunnies and i could have a litterally new two floor hutch for nothing (worth alot too). I was gobsmacked and so grateful, she said she was really happy to be giving it me in the end as i seemed so appreciative. I had always given loads away but never thought to ask for anything - so i think it was karma, and a very lovely lady
Anyway, my point it there are people out there that wouldn't usually list the items but if asked for they'll happily give them up just to help!

Goats cheese is fine to eat during pregnancy as long as it is pasteurised or cooked as part of a recipie. Cheese is an important source of protein and calcium for pregnant women but certain kinds do need to be avoided. This is because some cheeses are more inclined to allow growth of bacteria, such as listeria which can harm your unborn child. It is best to avoid soft mould-ripened cheese such as Brie or Camembert and blue-veined cheeses such as Danish Blue and Stilton or any cheeses which are unpasteurised.Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Ah other end of the country
You can eat goats cheese if it is pasturised - but musn't if it's not! Same with mayo, and other soft cheeses. ONLY if they are pasturised as the process kills the bacteriaOn that note i don't know where you'll find goats cheese that is pasturised but that's only because i have never looked as i don't like it

Beenie- ur better off without him, what an ignorant slug!
Well, I had some tummy pains on Wednesday which I thought might be BH, but it turns out that it was a little warning of a night of dia woo woo and being sick. Felt absolutely awful yesterday and didn't manage to keep anything down, even water was making me sick until about 6pm, when OH got me 7up and dry crackers for tea. Spent most of the day and night laying in bed to try and stop feeling sick, but feeling much better today. Bubs seems unaffected though and seemed to have an especially wriggly day, was reassuring but also made me feel really queazy at the same time.
Does anyone else get red spots when they are sick? I think they are burst blood vessels or something. I usually get a few but one side of my face is completely covered in them, and both eyelids so i look like I've been in an accidnet or something!:o
Feeling loads better today, but stayed at home as ahve to have 48 hours away from work after last symptom with d+v, so won't be back til Monday now.
Last weekend we should have had a new carpet fitted in our en suite but the carpet fitter cut the toilet in the wrong end of the carpet:rotfl:, so they are coming back later this evening to do it, so have had a bit of a tidy up. think a whole day in bed has helped me to stop feeling so tired as been fairly productive today.
Hope everyone else is OKBoots: £107.xx on AC :j
