EA most companies if your having a talk like that they have to give you notice and the opportunity to have someone there with you. Try not to let them get to you, your finishing soon enough to get ready for lilybump. Lots of hugs your way :grouphug:Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

EA- that is horrid! Big hugs to you- at least you have the weekend off.
Gemma- glad you're feeling a bit better. Make sure you rest up as something like that can really take it out of you.
Well an eventful day at chez GISI. I hadn't really felt bubs moving this morning, and just felt generally crap so called the day unit and went in for monitoring. They were really lovely and all was well on the CTG so I guess baby was just having a lazy morning. All a bit scary at the time though and I spent most of the morning in tears! Good news is that OH has decided to take tonight and tomorrow off work, as he was supposed to be doing nights. CTG showed some mild contractions so he doesn't want to leave me all night.
Hugs to those who need them.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Im home now, and i the midwife has given me my MatB1 form, but wrote the wrong EDD on it ¬¬
Is it ok if i change it? Its only wrote in pen, and my actual EDD is all over my notes and everything else, so its not like im changing it completly hehe.
I have a cupasoup and some cream crackers, so im happy for a bit
And yes they are meant to give warning for that sort of thing, incase i do want to have someone with me. And i would of taken OH cause he's my calm in my emotional storm lol.
They want me to sign something, but im going to refuse on the basis that procedure wasn't followed correctly and if they want to do another one they best do it quick cause im not coming in when i've gone.
On the good news front, i got my tesco vouchers through. £9! Woo! I usually only get £3 lol.
So i might put them as tokens and take OH to pizza express
GISI, im glad bubs is okLots of labour vibes your way!

Hi ladies,
EA - Do not change your MATB1, it's an official document for your maternity pay so I'd speak to your midwife and see if she can get you another one. Also, don't sign anything at work, they're up to something. They should've given you written notice of the meeting and allowed you to invite someone to accompany you, I'd be suspicious.
Congrats to Helen & Karen
Beenie - I'm putting a curse on your ex
I've been having a nightmare with my former employers (possibly why I'm so suspicious for EA ). They terminated my contract the Friday before my qualifying week, that's OK I thought, with notice they still have to pay my SMP. Got my P45 this week and they've put my leaving date down as the day they terminated my contract, so they've not given me or paid me notice. Looks like they're trying to get out of paying my SMP  Have sent them a letter but looks like I might have to take it to tribunal. Just what I need, stress and worrying. It was bad enough having to start SMP 3 months earlier than planned but now I've got no idea when/if I'm going to get any money :mad::mad: Sorry for the rant, I'm just so angry0 -
Ooh, GISI thats exciting! Hopefully not too much longer!!
EA- that really sucks, don't sign anything. If I was you I would start keeping a record of things like this just in case they start to try and do anything underhand. Hopefully you won't, but it may come in handy should things ever go any further.
Iheartfreebies- have you spoken to the CAB? How long were you working for them? it might make a difference.
Tried to make a sponge cake and it is looking suspiciously like charcoal so probably shouldn't attempt to cook while ill! SJ- I don't knwo how you do it!Boots: £107.xx on AC :j

I know!! She texted earlier that although she has been having some contractions, its all random. I am resisting texting her unless she texts me as Im sure she has enough on her plate, lol!! And i dont wanna be like one of the people I mention in the next paragraph
Boogelly, mega well done on ur batch cooking, I havent got around to any yetI keep getting the texts and questions of people too about any twinges etc, I spose they think its nice for them to pay an interest but surely they can see after the 100th text it can be a tad annoying!!
Well my dad came round this afternoon and found whats causing our washing machine to leak so we have ordered the part up and he is gonna try and fix it for us on Monday, fingers crossed. Grrr to your former employers IHF!! It does sound like they are trying to get out of giving you SMP, i wonder why though??? They claim it back from the government anyway.
I couldn't get hold of my MW so i called my GP's and they said to drop it in monday and my GP will change it for me0
