Afternoon peeps hope were all ok today!!??
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EA :T:T XX
Im pretty sure I felt bubs move 2 or 3 times while I was laid in bed this morning, it felt like a 'flick' or twitch, I was laid on my side and my hand resting on side of my tummy and felt it...:D
I feel like Im missing out as Ive not had 1 single craving (Im 21+1) - boo hoo!!! I wouldnt mind a healthy one like grapes rather than chocolate even though chocolate tastes soooo much nicerOpinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!!0 -
grapes would be a good one
I only crave all the things you're not supposed to eat - nuts and peanut butter sandwiches mainly lol and dippy eggs

Happy Birthday EA!!!
Seeing these bump pics makes me want to have a proper baby bump now, though I'm sure I'll change my mind when I'm all uncomfortable with it.0 -

I'm the same, though it is pate and runny eggs I want! Oh, and sushi
As for peanuts, you could eat them if you like. The FSA changed the guidelines for this in August 2009. I know you might still be wary though, I don't eat smoked salmon anymore as a precaution.
on another note, colds in pregnancy are really really rubbish - I want to be able to take something to make it go away!0 -
Gemma - Jessica is gorgeous! Thanks for posting the pics.
EA - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

thanks esio - I'm glad you said that coz now I feel better that I've had the odd sandwich!! lol I did with dd too 6 years ago, figure if I'm craving it that much there is a reason. I take most of it with a pinch of salt, out parents ate things we now get told we shouldn't, and give it a few years and stuff there's no prob with now will be "banned" in pregnancy!
how much weight have people generally been putting on? I'm 19 + 3 and have only gained half a stone, but I did have really bad flu just before xmas and lost what I'd gained then, and only just got it back. Is there anywhere that tells you how much bigger bump should be at dif stages? have checked net but couldn't find anything0 -
Hi,
Mermaid - I'm 27 weeks tomorrow, and I've put on nearly 2 stone (yikes!), but I have to admit that I haven't been eating particularly well. I'm at work at the moment, but I do have a link on my laptop at home to a site which tells you suggested weight gain. If no-one posts it this afternoon, I'll try and remember to post it tonight.
Well, my little (huh - bigger than me, and nearly 28 now) brother came over and treated us to an indian takeaway last night - really yummy, still feeling full now!
I'm starting to struggle with getting a good night's sleep - I keep waking up every few hours, so I'm exhausted now - has anyone got any good tips they can share on getting a good night's sleep?
Bump is starting to feel quite uncomfortable and hard - DH has nicknamed me 'Tweedledee' which is charming....!
Hope everyone's ok?Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

afternoon all!
Earliest rise for quite some time this morning, 9:20am LOL
Had breakfast of porridge, very righteous and now im thinking about what to have for lunch..... might be a ham sandwich i think.....with a packet of salt and vinegar crisps.
Midwife made it today. HUZZAH! DH was also able to stay before he needed to leave for his interview, so that was good. Totally wasnt xpecting her to take blood from me though!!!!! Really glad I'd had breakkie and some squash beforehand.
Did have to remind her couple of times that I'd had a missed m/c before, since she didnt seem to pick up when I was talking, but i think she was all out of sorts doing a booking appt at 20 weeks.
I am apparently too late for any screenings, which is fine by me because I didnt really want them anyway, and we've now got our 20 week scan on thursday at 10:30am! WOOWOO....
Hopefully get confirmation of first sonographers reckoning on baby boyWealth is not measured by currency0
