Hope you're ok Som? On the bright side, you'll know the labour ward inside out by d-day, there'll be no running around looking for it for you :D Hope you have a nice couple of days now taking it easy & relaxing, xx

Brill news on the scan CAFC :D

Kindof I really can't believe we're 33 weeks, eek! Where's the time gone?!

Esio I remember reading ages ago on here that we can eat Sushi, something to do with it being frozen (if you get from somewhere like Yo Sushi)? I've eaten it anyway...!!

Mermaid I'd not put on any weight by 20 weeks, at 33 I've put on about a stone & a half. Think it depends from person to person though, my mum only ever put on a stone with each of us, and she's tiny, plus we were big babies, so goodness knows where she hid us!! I wouldn't let it concern you, some put on a lot, some don't :)

I've only got one muslin, it came free with something...sma maybe?! God, the more I read this thread the more unprepared I feel!!

I'm soooooo exhausted, just been out and posted off a load of eBay parcels and done some shopping, walked to the supermarket instead of driving so I could get some fresh air :) Seriously feel like I might drop off to sleep at any moment now, trying hard not to as don't want to not sleep tonight again, gah. OHs parents are coming for dinner on Wednesday & I'm half tempted to make it now and freeze as I know I'll not want to do it then if I'm this tired and will end up getting stroppy about having to!

eta: saw mum today & she'd bought me some baby socks from Gap, they're so cute!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

thanks gymfiend. am more concerned this time lol, with dd I was in 10-12 jeans at 8 months, up from a normal size 8 and put on about 2.5 stone, yet this time I'd never fit bump into that size although I started out same size, but not putting any weight on. am hoping just down to being ill as bump seems quite big but have def lost of legs and bum. boobs have grown ridiculous amounts, my nursing bras from dd just about fit now! and still got 20 weeks to grow. I found with dd that they literally grew overnight after giving birth too am a bit scared how they'll end up!

yeah, I read that somewhere too though haven't dared to try it out yet! I think I'll likely relax more about it after the 20 week scan (hopefully within the next 2 weeks!) because I know if anything was wrong on it, I'd blame it on risking it with that packet of sushi or whatever. I think meantime, I'll try making some veggie sushi at home - I think the reason I want it is more to do with the spicy wasabi than anything else!

I love sushi Esio, when I read that I could eat it I went wild haha, in fact, tempted to go with OH tonight if only it didn't shut at 6pm :(

Maybe it's a boy Mermaid? :D I'm still in my normal jeans at 33 weeks, hoping that when I give birth I'll be back to normal weight (wishful thinking or what!!) Try not to worry about it & just eat as you would normally, then however much you're meant to gain, you will :)

OH just rang to say he's on his way home, skipping the gym as my not sleeping has made him exhausted too! Think it calls for a lazy night watching catch up rubbish on the TV :D

  • Kindof- I have a Mei Tai sling that I bought on Etsy and I absolutely love it. If I take Henry into town or to the supermarket on my own I always use the sling as he just dozes off in it.
Thank you very much Aless and Super Saver :)

Ok so some more Muslins are more than two fitted sheets lol :)

Aless can I ask, when Finn wakes up in the middle of the night for a feed and OH is asleep in bed what do you do, do you quietly just feed him in bed sitting up or laying down? or do you go off somewhere else to do it?

I know I'm not Aless, but I just feed Henry sat up in bed, next to OH. Oh can pretty much sleep through it now, although if Henry won't go back to sleep after a feed OH sometimes gets up with him for a bit. I occassionally feed Henry lying down for his morning feed (6-7am) to give myself an extra half an hour or so in bed, but I'm a bit scared of rolling on him to do it for his night-time feed.
