Me too. I don't feel like I'm ever going to feel remotely attractive ever again0 -
EA - had a 4 and a bit hour visit to labour ward this morning after another bleed, was let home while we waited on bloods but had to go back for an Anti D jab what with being Rh Neg.
PP - Thanks for the link, sent my details for the freebies
I like to think of my self more as comfy than slummy haha. Really tired, had to wait around at the hospital for a while as labour ward was busy, poor MW looked like she'd had a rough shift! Stopped by Mothercare and picked up baby plan bits and moved the date for other bits to be delivered, so will have it all by 28th. Had to pop by In laws and drop of their pushchair and travel cot they ordered, which also ment a cup of tea so only just got in, sigh! I'm pooped now, considering haven't done much am sooooo tired.

Do you live up here???? lol I thought it was only me and Beenie and now Cafc, where are you? I am in Ashington, Beenie and Cafc are Darlo
I was born in Ashington and lived in Cramlington until I was 6 (we had a chat about this a month or too ago which u may remember) until we moved to the North West.
My Mum's family still live in Gateshead and we were at a family party there on Sat so stayed at the Holiday Inn Express right near the Metro Centre.
CAFC girl - I pretty much wiped out the bargain trolleys at metro centre branch so you'd prob be better off with another local babies r us store lol#
EA - Happy 21st Birthday!!!!!
Bubs was moving loads this morning - 1st time I've seen my tummy twitch away like that. I can't quite decide if I like it or not, it's such a strange sensation lol
Som - that all sounds very worrying but glad to know you are both ok. You should definitely take it as easy as possible....me thinks your little girl is getting impatient to meet you
Mermaid - I'm 25 weeks and have put on just over a stone. Most of that has gone on in the last 4 weeks and my bump has finally appeared properly! Up until 22 weeks you'd have struggled to tell that I was pregnant.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Firstly, EA, hope you've had a lovely 21st!! (co-op tropical juice of course!)SJ you've been very busy today, you put me to shame lol all I've managed to do is put a batch of scotch broth in the slow cooker to have for lunch throughout the week.
I paid for it though - I was knackered last night!!! Went and dropped DH off and then picked sister up from work and she came back to mine as my Dh was at her house with her hubby drinking beer and watching sport. Glad she came over as otherwise I'd planned more cooking! Did get 10 portions each of curry and chilli cooked thoughWith regards the Team Blue/Pink............................we've decided to join Team-Find-Out-On-The-Day
Welcome to the Team!! I'm so excited to find out now though but glad we waited. I think it's a boy and have done all along so will possibly take some getting used to if it's a girlI feel like Im missing out as Ive not had 1 single craving (Im 21+1) - boo hoo!!! I wouldnt mind a healthy one like grapes rather than chocolate even though chocolate tastes soooo much nicer
Neither have I and I'm 36 weeks tomorrow! DH feels cheated too as he was looking forward to trying my cravings too, weirdo!!grapes would be a good oneI only crave all the things you're not supposed to eat - nuts and peanut butter sandwiches mainly lol and dippy eggs
As someone else said the guidelines have changed about eating peanuts. Makes more sense to me that you can eat them TBH although I probably wouldn't recommend eating too many. I've had a few throughout the pg as it makes sense to me. The only thing I miss is pate.I seem to be getting a hairy line up my belly? whats all that about?
Linea nigra - a line most women get up their middle during pg. Mine is very light and hardly even visable above my belly button.
Apparently excess hair on your lower bump is a sign you are having a boy - somehting to do with baby's testosterone or something, but that may be just be an old wive's tale and a load of rubbish!Bubs was moving loads this morning - 1st time I've seen my tummy twitch away like that. I can't quite decide if I like it or not, it's such a strange sensation lol
Ooh I love watching my belly dance!!! Better than all the crap on tv :rotfl:
Som glad you are ok and can't be too worrying for docs if they let you go home. Hope it's stopped now and doesn't restart. Yey for getting the rest of your baby bits sooner!!
PP thanks for the lanisoh link - just signed up!
I went out and bought nursing bras today from Debenhams. Matalan didn't have anyI had to get a 38E though
Re weight gain, I've put on 2 stone but can't see any difference anywhere but bump and boobs so I'm extremely happy with that.
Gymfriend, not to worry about missing out yesterday, we can have sushi tomorrow :drool:0 -
Happy 21st EA:j
Just wanted to mention incase anyone doesn't have an ASDA nearby to take advantage of tomorrows baby event that I went to Morrisons today and they too have a baby event on. Many of the offers were the same as the ASDA ones, here is what I can remember;
TT CTN micro steriltser £10 (rrp 21.99)
TT CTN plug in steam steriliser kit £20 (rrp 39.99)
TT CTN breast pump £10 (rrp 24.99)
pack of 3 TT CTN bottles £5 (rrp 11.99)
pack of 2 TT CTN decorated blue or pink bottles £5 (rrp 11.99)
6 formula holders TT CTN £2.45 (rrp 4.84 in boots)
Avent starter kit(2 sm bottles,2 big bottles, dummy and bottle brush) £10
Lindam stairgate £15
Big cuddly giraffe teddies £3
12 sensitive pampers wipe pack £8
Booster seats ( for older children) £3
lots of baby foods, cups, cutlery, plates, some formula, nappies and other goodies half price or less.
There were a lot of TT cTN stuff, more than on the ASDA event and some things were a bit cheaper too. All of these were down the seasonal aisle but there were more un advertised bargains down the normal baby aisle.
HTH x:pBusy mummy of 4.:j0 -
