Evening
Hope everyone is ok today x
Well I eventually sorted all my baby sheets out and bits from the loft and tackled cleaning the whole house out. I feel so drained atm as i haven't been sleeping that well recently and from today just feel 'blah' _pale_
So tired but can't seem to get a good nights sleep without waking or moving about. Miss sleeping on my tummyIs a long pillow the same as a V pillow? I've a V pillow and its not helping that much for me. xx

kind of , we are allowed soft eggs , just not snotty ( as they call it ) where the white is like water , i asked MW as i only like to dip my toast in the yolk and the yolk is the bit with iron , so as long as its not raw or nearly raw you really are ok
Thats weird, thats not what my MW or DR said, it was one of my first questions
Also this says no as well

I've made a start on washing and ironing the baby things - so far done all 1st size clothes plus the sheets and blankets. Got everything for my hospital bag but not actually packed it yet. Going to do some batch cooking tomorrow and more washing and ironing...oh the excitement :rotfl:
Gym - re the dress, have you asked whether they can check any other stores for bigger sizes? Don't ask don't get and all that. Failing that, get the code off the tag and a list of stores you could travel to and ring them yourself. A bigger size is much easier to take in than a smaller size made bigger IYSWIM. Good luck
Congrats to the new mummies and welcome newbies

Beenie :hello: How are you and Amber doing? This thread has been quiet without you!!
Kindof 27 hours over 3 days makes them long days! Especially when you think of what times baby will be sleeping and when you'll be at home. 4 days off a week would be very mice though!! I'm dreading going back to work already!
Gymfriend, yeah BF clinic does sound good. I'm going to go on Friday, weather permitting.
Can't even get out of the house today cos of all the ice. It was ok yesterday but the whole of Leeds seems to have frozen up overnight after th ebit of rain yesterday. My mum walks to work when the weather is bad as it's only about 2 miles but she set off today, fell on the ice 3 times in 10 minutes so walked (carefully) back home again. The bypass into town has been closed all morning due to black ice and I've had to cancel lunch with the girls from work, my hair appointment and dinner at a friend's tonight so I'm not happy today!
ymakesmile I've been the same with the milk, I don't normally have hardly any but I've been eating tons of cereal with milk and have been buying nesquick and drinking tons of milk with that.
Nicoop congratulations!! :T Bet you were glad she came early at 10lb 10.5oz!!
Supersaver Congrats on Team Blue!! Glad everything was well on the scan. And marmite with cottage cheese IS disgusting lol!!!
Labour vibes for you brednall! And anyone else who wants them. Sure it won't be too much longer for you now.
Anyone heard from three2be recently?? Hope she's ok! - EDIT just seen your post! Glad you're ok! I need to wash all my baby clothes soon too.
Congratulations Gemma!! And welcome Jessica Rose  Glad all was well in the end and you are both home safe
CAFC no way is it sad to have pant that fit!! I wish I had more that did. My maternity jeans and combats are both too tight now so the only thing I'mtruly comfy is in my leggings. DH keeps laughing at me cos I'm in them so much. Trouble is they're not very warm.
Novagirl congrats!!! Hope litte Harvey is home with you very soon x
Guinea hello! I'm due on 16th Feb so fairly close to you. Are you gettign really uncomfy yet? I am. Feel like I'm all bruised just under my boobs which is just plain weird!
Hello and welcome Rose Tinted!
Som if it makes you feel any better I didn't really learn anything from ante-natal classes. I'm sure you'll be fine
Yorkygal yes I think they say you do feel bubs sooner the less "extra padding" you have!! Everyone is different though, as others have said.
Today I had a trapped nerve on my left side...the baby must have been lying differently. It has hurt all day whethere I sit down, stand up and lie down! The joys of being pregnant! Actuallly, I have really enjoyed being pregnant and, even though I am looking forward to seeing our baby, I wouldn't mind being pregnant for longer! LOSER I hear you shout! I think that working up to the week before being due is just being pig headed as I just want more time off after the birth. I do finish at half term though so only four weeks to go or 22 working days. Even when not pregnant I work out the working days! Boobs have got absolutely MASSIVE...but they were big before I got pregnant...I have gone up to a 34J! I was so ashamed when I was fitted for a new bra as the size of one cup is the size of my husband's head...the SHAME!!:eek:Baby Bump born 4th March 2010! :kisses:

Evening all!I'm feeling quite pleased as I have just made some veggie soup to freeze, and it looks and tastes lush!whoop whoop.I'm trying to stock up on ready meals and batch cook in prep for baby.We didn't do this last time and it cost us a fortune in takeaways, plus we lived off cereal, sandwiches and junk ie sweets for weeks after.:p:p
Feeling a bit blah today.Feel like doing something wacky as I'm sick of being so sensible with money.I'm torn between being as frugal as poss with baby or just enjoying myself and splashing out,as we have decided that this will be our last child due to my ill health and wanting to be more financially secure in the future. We haven't brought much new as we kept most things from dd ie cot, mose basket, pram, clothes etc.
Keep suggesting to hubby that I want to get a new haircut, but I suggested shaving it all off as a joke (his face was a picture!lol)Bored bored bored.I wish I was a yummy mummy but right now feel definate slummy mummy!Hopefully it will pass and I shall wake up tomor content again :rotfl:
Hope your all well xx:female:Our 2 gorgeous little girls born 2006 and 2010

Does anyone feel like they're walking like a penguin? Do you ever think to yourself that you'll just do this one thing...and then another and then you need a wee and by the time you've finished your 'one' thing you think that you may not get to the toilet in time? Or...is that just me?!
Anyway...I've been nesting quite a bit and am insisting on getting the house sorted before baby arrives. I am a list writer/follower anyway but I seem to be writing list after list after list!! This weekend is e-bay sorting and putting some stuff on there.
I have also been making a lot of meals 'just in case' and have visited the butcher for lots of lovely meat! I have now got into the habit of writing lists of meals for the following week, going to Lidl for the fresh stuff, butchers for the meat and Tesco for all the other stuff so that I know exactly what we're having and not impulse buying. We have done that a lot in the past and thrown quite a bit of food out. Now I even plan down to whether we're having carrots or peas or salad with the meal! That way I know that I will have a bit of money left over at the end of the month, the meals will be planned so I don't have to worry about cooking something out of thin air when I get in from work and I am also cooking things that we both want/like and have agreed the previous week!
Anyway...I'm now going to go and try to sleep through the night without getting up for a wee...fat chance of that!!Baby Bump born 4th March 2010! :kisses:
