...the size of one cup is the size of my husband's head...the SHAME!!
hahaha! not at your shame (I do have a lot of empathy for you) but because my OH used to compare mine (size wise) to the sieve in the kitchen! Really do not like being an H cup (pre pregnancy )
speaking of which, did you manage to find any decent maternity bras and if so, what ones?! anything I've tried has been rubbish so far.0 -
When should i be fitted for a nursing bra?

I went to....I shall call it a BRA SHOP(!) which I have been going to for ages as their bras are so comfy and said that I needed a maternity bra.....anyway....they informed me that for 'my size' there was not a great selection! Quelle surprise(!) They were horrible and so I bought only two. They are not underwired which puts me off anyway. I haven't worn a not underwired bra since I was 12!!This 'tent' is DISGUSTING and I have only worn it once. The main reason being is that it is SO uncomfortable and no tops actually go over the top of it and cover it up! At the moment I am still squuzing into my old bras which I know is not a good thing but when I've had the baby I am just going to walk around without a bra on!! Well.....at least when I am on my own, otherwise people would see my boobs by the tops of my trousers!
In answer to your question....NO, I have NOT found a decent bra yet!!:rotfl:Baby Bump born 4th March 2010! :kisses:

Guinea - I know what you mean about the trips to the loo lol.
EA - Nursing bra fitting should be done as late as poss so 38 weeks ideally, but if your booked in for a c sec or anything like that then you may need to go earlier. Unfortuantley its all a guessing game anyhoo as your boobs dont usually change till you milk comes in when babs is born. Your Back size normally wont change but your cup could by one or two. So buy as few as poss as you can manage then buy more when you change and/or buy diff sizes and take back what doesnt fit.
Twinkles - am still trying to decide what/how much to batch cook and if I can even be bothered or have the space! Oh and I so need a haircut too.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Guinea - that's been exactly my experience too. I bought a couple of maternity bras because I felt I had to, wore them earlier in my pregnancy and absolutely hated that they weren't underwired. Now I'm back squeezing into my old pre-pregnancy bras; they don't really fit me anymore but they're preferable to those horrible things.
I really can't help feeling that whoever comes up with maternity wear really doesn't like women! This time around I'm trying to be good, I'm even wearing the (truly horrid!) maternity pants that my mother bought me - God they feel like nappies! Bridget Jones has nothing on me! Then there are the non-underwired bras - yeukkk! Then my maternity trousers have a tendancy to 'bag' around my crotch (-and halfway down my legs!).
Grr - is it any wonder that I hardly feel glamerous and sexy at the moment...Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Morning everyone I hope we are all well!
What a disappointment yesterday was, The travel cot didn't show until 4.45 so i didn't make it out for my shopping after all, had to send OH with a list of what to get and he spent all the money i gave him but didn't get all the stuff on the list but managed a load of @@@@ instead:mad:
To top that off I decided to check the cot to make sure the it was OK etc and it's damaged, think it's been the couriers as the corner looks stressed with white marbling effect, so i think it literally fell of the back of the truck lol and it has little rips about 1/4 1/2 CM Long on the top rail material I've emailed the company requesting a replacement which unfortunately means i will need to spend another day waiting on them:rolleyes:
We have snow here too not to bad though as we actually finally got some gritting yesterday, which has stopped it being too hazardous. Waiting on OH getting in from walking dogs then I'm giving him the good news that we are off shopping, his driving is not well suited to snow but i cant drive our car as the position of the seat means that when i get to my destination i need pulled out the car, Very dignified indeed lol
Welcome to the newbies that have joined,
Nikkit have you tried wearing tights under your leggings. Thats what i do when we go camping it creates another layer to trap the heat without bulking you out. HTH
hmmm I really need to right notes as i read, can't remember what i wanted to post about now!!
Bra's I think no matter how pretty or hideous are uncomfy in PG this is my third PG and each time tat the end no bra has stood up to the mark. Yet another joy of PG lol
