I'm washing everything that I've got second hand, and everything that goes next to baby's skin. Haven't bothered with the snow suits or anything like that.

Sausage sandwich was lovely! Just had an apricot yoghurt too and a chocolate milk. I forgot about getting fruit as I was distracted by the leaked milk in the fridge. (DH doesn't realise you can't lie milk on its side)

re maternity bra's. Yuk! I really hate them. I'm pretty well endowed and so like others haven't worn a non-underwired bra ever in fact! My first bra I got when I was 10 was a B cup.

I wore my normal bra's through my first pregnancy, just make sure the underwire isn't digging in anywhere or causing red marks, even go and buy a bigger under wire bra if thats more comfy. I Then got fitted at mothercare at 38 weeks, and the woman was AWFUL! She tried to tell me I was a 44 G, when I am normally and have always been a 32/34 G/H. When it was obvious that the 44 was like a sack on me, she then made me try on every size until I was in the 34 G (surprise surprise!) I could have done this myself. I ended up buying the twin pack of bra's from there, and thy were sooooo uncomfy. For the first few weeks I really needed a bra, even at night as your boobs get so tender and heavy that they really need support, after the first few months though I just went back to wearing underwire bra's and when DD needed feeding then I just slipped the shoulder strap down my arm to feed her.

This time round I have been wearing underwire, and will carry on doing so. I have, however treated myself to a "hot milk" maternity bra for once baby comes along. It isn't much better looking/ feeling, but it is so much more comfortable and much better made. Also try figleaves for maternity bra's too! They have some OK ones.

Tink - if your DH doesn't mind I think for your own peace of mind you need to go on Saturday. It sounds like your making yourself really unhappy and stressed which won't be doing your little one any good. How old is your DD?

If you're going to wait until 30th Jan then tbh you may as well wait until your 12 week which surely won't be much longer than that x

Thanks Gill DD is 12 going on 25!!!!! :D

Thank you ladies. I may wait & see what the MW comes up with tomorrow when I see her and see if she can get my scan date then I will know how long i have to wait for my sanity

On the bra front I am with you at Mat bras are gross and do NOTHING for you!!! I have gone from 34dd to a 34G and only 8 weeks PG

I have found some really niced stretched lace U/W bras in sainsburys that fit really well and are fab comfy! :D

Had a stress with clothes this morning as put on a dress that was too tight on my chest and got all fluxed & had to get DD to help me get out of it so that I could breath!

Still in work feeling a little better after my third honey & lemon & a couple of tunes!!!

Tink sorry you are feeling so low. I agree with Gill, if your DH doesn't mind you should go on Saturday. Or do they do any evening appointments you could get to?

I'm waiting in today for MW coming, no idea what time it will be but hope it's not in the next 20 mins as I forgot to do my sample so need to wait untilI need to go again. Should only be 20 mins tho!!

Just had a RLT and a sausage sandwich. Mmmmm! Want to eat something else now but don't know what. Might go get some fruit to balance it out actually!

I'm watching a show called Amazing Births - some woman had a baby so quick, 23 minutes from first contraction to time of birth

Oh and I really need a haircut too! Had it done just before my wedding in September but not since! Had to cancel my appointment yesterday cos of the ice so going on Tuesday now. Can't wait! Also have a tidy up wax and a pedicure next Thursday so hopefully will feel a bit more glamorous then than I do now!!
