Fattyboo - if your croissants are like the frozen ones I buy then you should be leaving them out at room temp for around 8 hours before cooking. The airing/defroasting is when they'll puff up.

Ooh thanks for this Som, I wonder if they are the same!! I really shouldve paid a tad more attention when I bought them as there was an info sheet by them, doh!! Maybe I will phone the farm shop up tomorrow and ask, they will be like 'duh!!'

Beenie - when you ordered the bras from laredoute did you get a free gift too? Ive just had an email to say my watch is now instock and will be despatched shortly (the bras came last week) but I dont remember anything about a watch  Thanks again for posting the link, mega MSE bargain!

I forgot all about the free gift til today when i got a dispatch email! I saw the header and was wondering if i'd been buying things in my sleep but it's for the watch and bracelet apparently :rotfl:

Som - Ive always suffered with nosebleeds despite having both nostrils cauterised (sp) countless times and they've been terrible during my pregnancy. The midwife said they can get worse, Ive been averaging one every other day recently.

    Boo lovely bump piccie :D

Mgeb my OH never makes normal flavour wines, over the last few years we've had lychee & chilli, strawberry & sherbet fountain, rice & raisin to name a few :rotfl: And Id go ahead and enjoy your shandy, I had mega cravings for shandy over summer so kept getting the big bottles of it ready made from asda, I think its about 0.05%

Gisi maybe you will get a guy fawkes baby then we'd have a baby yesterday, today and tomorrow so still a hat trick :D

    Congrats Helen!! :) x
  • Thanks Boogelly :) Those wines ur OH makes sound lovely, especially strawb and sherbet fountain, yum!! I had mega cravings for lager throughout this pregnancy so at my brothers wedding DH bought me a non-alcoholic lager, well I had never had one before and I have to say never again, lol!! Have had the odd sip of normal lager more recently but cant wait to have a proper glass of lager once baby is here, mmm!! Think the thought of it is prob better than it actually is, lol!!

I normally cant stand lager but for weeks the smell of stella was divine! I didnt want to drink it just smell it whenever OH opened a bottle or can. I tried a sip and nearly wretched but I love shandy?!

Just spotted this on hotuk http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/519896/johnsons-baby-wipes-reduced-again-6

And according to aldis website pineapples arent in the super 6 but I definately saw them today

  • Nice bump! It does look very neat - lucky lady! :D

Boogelly, i'd try them, even if they are weird - i'm fascinated by little crazy concoctions! With DD i had to smell fosters, if OH had one i'd keep knicking it to get a sniff, never wanted a taste, lol it was very weird. This time i think i am a little more relaxed. One glass of shandy on a very rare occasion can't hurt. And i won't deprive myself of a glass of champers on Xmas day with dinner, and one to welcome the new year in! That'll prob be my lot - but i won't deprive myself if i fancy just a taste of OH's beer every now and then :) Oh, i have 6 and half more months to go and i can't wait for a full glass of lager, so you don't have long left fattybooboo - and it is good when you finally get it, but you'll prob not be able to handle a full pint through being a lightweight again, haha, i was a major lightweight after going without for so long last time :D
