At last..Ethan Lewis arrived 6 days late, last night 9.20pm!! A healthy 8lb 15.5! And he is just beautiful!! Will add pics later, but I'm absolutley smitten with him. Bit of a long story, didn't get my homebirth, but it all turned out for the best. I'm so tired right now,I'm going to catch up abit, I'll tell the long story later or tommorow!! Love to you all, hope the other girls due now have their babies soon too...GISI, if you haven't already had yours..happy due date to you xx
:T:T:T woohoo fab news congrats hun!

Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Ah thank you Gill, that has put my mind at ease a bit. I think everytime it comes up now i see it as another digg and it gets to me...i am very sensitive about my weight, people don't really realise. They think if you are naturally slim you are the happiest person in the world - simply not true. I have big weight hang ups, want to be curvier, lol! Us women are never happy, haha!
It still a bit poo as it takes nearly two hours to get to the hosp with all the changes via train then bus, so the less time i have to go in the better - but never mind!
Come on GISI, you still have just under 4 hours left to make it a hatrick today, lol! x Hope you are ok GISI!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
It looks like mine are all going to be arranged around my scans so they will hopefully do the same for you.
I have a 5 minute drive to my hospital lol very handy....just a shame I won't be able to give birth there. Think the one we go to for that is only 15/20 min drive so still good compared to yours!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Boo my OH makes his own wine so he's hoping I wont eat them all and then he can make wine with them! When they had mangoes for 29p he bought 24 and cycled home with them in his backpack :rotfl: Mint & mango wine should be ready around xmas I think!
MGEB thanks for that piccie, it looks quite nice for a freebie. All my friends think Im stupid with my vouchers and codes, all my boots glitches, using mse and hotuk but they never whinge when they get lovely pressies that look like they've cost a bomb :TBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Thats good - yes i hope they book mine around scans too, it'd help loads!
Midwives are just two mins up the road from me which is fab! We are smack bang in the middle of Eastbourne and Brighton hosps so it's a fair distance each way, i think it's only a 30-40 min drive but the only way to get there if you don't drive is 2 trains and a bus, and you have to get the train in the wrong direction in order to get the right changeover, its a bit of a nightmareMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
OH took some piccies of the canvasses for the nursery, heres the link if anyone fancies a look http://s420.photobucket.com/albums/pp284/boogellyboo/Nursery%20canvasses/

Ooh those wines sound great. I'm not a drinker but do have the occasional glass of wine with dinner (not now of course, lol). Saying that, OH just had a fosters so i said i'll have a shandy as it can't hurt. His reply was you can but if baby comes out with three arms i am blaming you:eek: I promptly put it down, haha! Then i changed my mind as a light shandy with dinner is less than a point and it's like a once in the next few months.I also said if baby has three arms it'll be the Lemsip Max he was feeding me when i was sick just days before i found out i was PG
I'm a sucker for all the codes too so don't feel ashamed, i don't buy anything online without one. HUKD is the second best website in the world lol, second to here, lol! :rotfl:Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

I'm fine thanks! I think I have zero chance of having a due date baby, but Helen's Ethan was born yesterday so it wouldn't quite be a hat trick!
I'll settle for a Guy Fawkes baby :rotfl:
Boogellyboo those canvasses are lovely. I think it's a great theme for the nursery!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Gymfiend - the Baby Plan has many uses, but most stores tend to tell customers about it as a payment plan and neglect to tell them the other perks. That kuster furniture is really nice, I especially like the storag underneath. As for the bola this was the one I ordered, but actually got a purple one delivered. Funnily enough I was umming and ahhing over the two so not dissapointed really and have had two compliments on it already
. Just seen the pics of your Nursery too, love it! Oh and how fab your OH can feel bubs.
EA - what were you after on the Baby Plan, you should ask at your local store as they can sometimes get other stuff than whats on the leaflet. I know stuff has been added since the leaflet was printed.
Fishcake - yeay for your wins.
LittleBit - Labour vibes too you and anti induction vibes too xx
Gisi - you had to mention Starbucks! Now I want one :rotfl: Oh and Happy Due Date your Bump looks fabAs for built in scratch mits, I know the ones I bought from sainsburys the other week have them, and as you already said so do mothercare (but only up to a certain size).
Smithyjules - welcome and congrats, oh and good planning
Karen - woohoo, nice quick labour! Anyhoo big congrats to you and I know I've said it loads lately, but again another really lovely name. Look foreward to pics
Lou66 - lots of get well soon vibes hun xx
kindof - I've gained about the same weight too, but can still fit in alot of my size 16 so not to bothered.
Mgeb - can't believe how stupid that nutricianist was telling you to eat all that Junk!
Fattyboo - if your croissants are like the frozen ones I buy then you should be leaving them out at room temp for around 8 hours before cooking. The airing/defroasting is when they'll puff up.
Helen - woohoo another birth you guys are on a rollwell done hun and congrats xx
Always - 2nd room might be a good idea to start off, but its your choice at the end of the day, and yeay for getting most of the packing done
Well had nommy Turkey stew when I got home tonight, was so good not having to stand and cook, feel real chilled nowAlso got some extra to take to work for the next few days so wont have to stand and make lunch woot! Asked boss lady about Mat trousers and she in turn is going to speak to the area manager tomorrow, so fingers crossed I get something more comfy to wear. Had a nose bleed at lunch today, normaly only get them summer so wondering if its PG related.
