Gisi - you had to mention Starbucks! Now I want one :rotfl: Oh and Happy Due Date your Bump looks fabAs for built in scratch mits, I know the ones I bought from sainsburys the other week have them, and as you already said so do mothercare (but only up to a certain size).
Talking of Sainsburys, they have 25% off all TU clothing at the moment which usually includes reduced stuff and baby stuff. I really like their clothes, so if baby arrives while this sale is on I will be popping there for some more baby clothes!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Someone mentioned homeopathic remedies before but i can't remember who. Was it any of you ladies on now? Just i am desperate to sort out this MS. I have found a list and what symptoms each are for but i can fit my symptoms into about 3 different remedies. Does anyone know, do you just get the capsules or whatever they are from somewhere like H&B and just take them as and when needed? They don't have to be prescribed or checked by a doctor do they? Thanks in advance if anyone can help!
I used to love cat in the hat when i was a kidloving the canvasses!
Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
Oh poo - well that was no good, the only one i can find on H&B is sepia but my symptoms fit into the category for sepia so i might give it a try. Just not sure if i am 'allowed' to. Or how much to take as no advice on either website
Boogelly did your OH draw and paint them? I thought they were bought...Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
Going Back to EA's post about winning the Euromillions on Friday I want this, not that I'm planning on a moses basket at all as I figure they're a waste of money for the time there used but if I was this is what I'd go for. Well tbh anything in that design would be nice hehe.
Boo - those prints are fab, its made me want one in the Lottie Fairy princess design now.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

He drew them all freehand from just looking in the books and we both painted them then he did the detailingMy mums asked can she have them when we're done as she loves cat in the hat. I didnt want to paint them directly on the walls as Id have been gutted to paint over them when we move.
Not too sure on the homeopathic remedies, if weezl's around (she may be on the parenting thread) she may be able to help. I know I got a lot of info on which vitamins & supplements to take towards the end of pregnancy from her.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Woah - i just got an email (some doggy, not dodgy, website, lol) apparently a cat in Iowa has caught the H1N1 virus (swine flu) if so that is scary that even our pets can catch it :eek::eek: apparently it is not that much of a surprise but this is the first confirmed case.

I haven't time or energy to do full story now but I'll try explain abit of how it went...
Remember me saying about my plug coming away and it was getting quite heavy? And I was up all Monday night with tightnenings that just then all of a sudden stopped? Well...I was getting concerned about the fact I was losing tonnes and tonnes of mucus and it was getting heavier by the day, that combined with the false start contractions..I rung midwifes yesterday morning for advice. Was told it didn't sound right atall and I had to go straight in to be seen and checked over. So went in to get checked, teary and panicy that something was terribly wrong. Was examined and found to be 2cm dilated (so all the tightenings had been doing something constructive at least) and she did a swob on the mucus/fluid that was spewing out of me by this point and turns out it wasn't my plug or show,it was my waters!! While she was there she also did me a sweep-she said it would be mean not to as she was examining me anyway:D So..., not good- waters been leaking for 4 days!! Midwife also couldn't tell for 100% certain if baby was still head down or had turned breech  so took me for a presentation scan-which luckily revealed baby to be head down still. But still I had to go straight to be induced due to waters leaking for 4 days. That was my home/water birth plans bAllsed up completely and it really upset me to think everything had been taken out of my control now. Went home to get bags for hospital together and as I stepped out of the car POP! waters went in a huuuuge gush. Ran up the drive comedy style trying not to open legs and looking round to see if any of the neighbours had seen!! They just kept gushing out, not like I expected though, it was all runny mucus,I thought it would have looked abit more like waterAnyhoo...got car packed up and off we headed for hospital to be induced and hows this for luck..my contractions started on the way!! So in the end,no need to be induced :T Labour was bloody awful (well whose isn't!?) but not too long..5 hours established labour, 20 mins pushing..I'll fill all that in tommorow, just wanted to let you all know what happened and why I dissapeared so quickly! I've got to dash off quick again now, mister wants feeding then I'm gonna try get some sleep hopefully!! Promise I'll be on tommoorow!
Well done Karen too!! And thanku for waiting for me to go 1st lol xxlove my little man he is amazing :j0
