Yay for the moving and conceiving coinciding, lol! I think i may tip that one to the ladies back on the TTC thread. I was on there for a while and we were all looking for good luck ways to conceive as well as real ways, haha. They'd really appreciate it if it worked too, even if it meant the hassle of moving! Oow i must send them some sticky baby dust vibes too as you kind of forget once you get here.

Kindof - yes, according to my list in my maternity notes i picked up today ;) Hope you get them all!

EA - i like the cerise, and the middle one but not keen on the hollywood cerise. I think the normal cerise would be nice with cream - they are both warm tones so should work ;)

Ewwww - i have just put on jackets, to make jackets beans and cheese for dinner but the smell is making me heave big time! Grrrrrr! Does anyone know of anything to help? I have tried spearmint, does nothing. Tried seabands, don't think they are really working, or i'm not placing them properly. Tried crakers or dry cakes, no good either! Lucozade, feel better initially but then it comes back up - and that is vile tasting it the second time around (really sorry if TMI). Ooooh i feel rough! How is it possible to stay positive when you feel this sick?

And the massive excess of saliva when you are about to feel sick (i feel like dribbling, lol)...what on earth is that all about? Sorry again if too much info

MGEB - Not really a cure, but pure orange juice tastes good on the way back up, unless it comes out your nose, then it burns. And popcorn scratches haha.

Nothing would help my sickness, except being sick :)

Yeah we want a nice warm pink, not to bright. And i like cerise :D I also didn't realise there were more colours on that page lol. I just opened it and copy and pasted the link :D

I might have to go and take loads of them colour chart things from b&q and cut them out and stick on a piece of paper to test how room would look lol.

Congratulations Karen!! Can't believe you are home and posting so quickly! Enjoy every minute with your beautiful little girl. xx

Happy due date GISI! Just realised you are due today.

Aless - I didn't notice any BHs throughout my pregnancy. Not everyone gets them, so either I didn't, or if I did, then I didn't notice.

Holly has been sleeping in my arms most of the day so have had time to keep an eye on this thread a bit today! Hope Helen posts news soon.

kitchen units all empty, mostly packed and all cleaned down, cooker cleaned, bathroom cleaning started and now I have bleach headache so will just have to stop, oh well! run out of boxes too! have also sent completion money to solicitors so just need to actually complete on Friday. DP and my cousin are doing the heavy lifting and shifting - we pick up the van tomorrow til Monday so should be able to sort everything including getting stuff out of storage (that'll save £100+ a month, phew), pick up baby stuff being stored at inlaws and get to that famous swedish shop to buy new mattress which we need! Busy weekend for us!

Nursery question - place we are moving to has 2 beds but we should be getting building work done in spring so we can have 3 beds. In the meantime, with friends and family all over the place and figuring little man will be in with us for a good few months, do you think it makes sense to make 2nd bedroom into spare room for time being?

CONGRATULATIONS HELEN! Welcome to the world Ethan!
  • Oooh ginger is vile -i tried chewing the sugar coated ginger from the health shop but eurgh! May try asking doc for the tablet though, never heard of it so i hope they know and don't try to fob me off - thanks nikkit!

Oh i'll be stearing clear of the popcorn then, haha! I have realised the OJ isn't too bad too :D . Being sick sometimes makes me feel better but not for long. Depends what i have eaten or drank as it determines whether the second taste (sorry again) just makes me be sick even more, if i do then i'm in a big vicious circle :(

I think the cerise is nice, cream is a warm tone too so it'll be nice together. We have a cool pink and white and they go perfect because both are cool tones. I think that's how you are supposed to match colours, warm with warm, and cool with cool! I dunno really haha!
