I thought you only get one thing at a time. once your name is down for getting something then they won't send the other thing until you have completed the review and then your name goes back on the system  this is what they told me when i put my name forward for a pushchair but as i was already testing a nite light and they hadn't sent me the form to fill in they said my name was off the system ans could go in for the pushchair that time.

I got the birthing dress and it packed in my bag already, it's about the only thing lol

Have you have a pre-op apt? or sare they waiting incase bubs turns? Mine wasn't worth it. They gave me pre med to take but last time i had pre-med i couldn't keep it doen so we will see. I have to go back hosp on sun to have the injection in the tummy to thin the blood. When they did that to my friend her waters broke and she had to stay in and have her section there and then.

Maybe that's why i have not got the birthing dress yet then, but in the email she said that she had already sent out the sling and was sending out the birthing dress that day ??? Have our pre op in the morning and another scan to see if bumper has moved which i dont think it's has so we will have to wait and see but everything is ready bag's packed etc, glad you have reminded me shall have a sort out down there tonight !!!!
Not sure what they will be doing tomorrow but have to be there at 11.30am and oh now has a week off work so should anything happen at least he will be there but we have a whole night planned for tomorrow night not sure how much sleep we will get as my mind we going into overdrive, we have told everyone we want it to be just the two of us weds night.

    Bennie
Hope your mate can help you out, would your mate be able to help you out if your sister can not make it ??? sending you big hugs, hope your leg feels better xxx

Hi Beenie, try not to worry too much about what will happen when you go into labour. Things usually have a way of working themeselves out in the end and you may find that what people say they wouldn't do and what the do actually do when the situation arises will be 2 different things IYKWIM?!

    Anyway, have PM'd you

Well I've been very naughty and ordered pizza hut for tea. Way too much food for 2 people but I had to get it up to £30 to get 50% off  I can always have leftover pizza for lunch (and probably breakfast) tomorrow.

I am tired tonight though and really can't be bothered cooking.

I had a shower when I got in from work too so have been in my pj's since just after 5pm!!

    hi all!
interesting reading all the stuff about ante-natal classes - I ended up paying for nct ones as was told the pct had cancelled them all due to swine flu like they'd cancelled the ward/delivery suite tours but by 36ish weeks they were back on and I figured as I'd had the nct ones I wouldn't have the other ones. Fortunately I was able to pay the nct in installments so the costs didn't seem so bad, think I paid over about 4 months. Think the main things I learnt were about pain relief - ooh and we had a session about massage in labour which I think will be helpful.

christmas shopping not particularly successful - gave up after an hour as was in so much pain / pressure down below and must have a real pregnant lady waddle! We picked up some kfc for lunch so not the only one on a junk food kick today, sarah and kindof, came home and I crashed out for 3 hours! dp must be feeling guilty as I came downstairs and he is now cleaning the kitchen as he's clearly spent all afternoon playing games on the internet! think I might even have managed to get him to cook tea - even he can manage sausages and mash

beenie - hope you get something sorted for looking after your ds

....his ears must be burning, hang on, he's just brought the sausages in for inspection! I do get cross sometimes that he is soooooooooooooo limited in the kitchen, his mum did everything so am trying to change that but it's a slow battle! god knows what my mother will say when she comes over, she's not been to stay since we lived together, I bet she'll be lecturing him

ooh and while on family rant, he's agreed he will call his sister if the little man is not out by the weekend as he couldn't come up with a decent reason why not to even though I agree with him that she will probably moan about it for the next 2 years - even his mothers 2nd option is to get the train!

Always how strange my oh is in the kitchen doing dinner as well and pops in every two minutes asking if this or that is ok and what time should he put the veg or etc. Mine is also very limted in the kitchen and his mum always cooked for him, thats why it worrying me a bit when me and bumper come out and i wont be able to very much. !!! Luckly my mum is round the corner and has offered to do us some meals and bring them round. Always hope you go before the weekend. My oh's family now seem to be getting quite exicted his mum is now coming up in the morning with my mum !!! Want my mum or stand by in case oh faints or feels he can not handle it which i am sure wont happen but i rather have her on stand by just in case. Lab vibes your way xxx

Hi all, glad i'm not the only one with pants antenatal classes, mine is only 2x2hr sessions and includes a hospital tour and physio which is ment to be 2 hrs itself so that means we will have the tour this week then physio so no chance of anything else and no more Q&A.

Seen one of the mums from school today she stopped me to ask why i had not rearranged our lunch date and i had to tell her about sis she was majorly shocked, she had offered advice to us before and was not pleased that nothing was done to help us despite us following all the info given and then some.

On the foof hairdoo's i'm with the tidy it up whenever possible gang lol I just wish i could see what i was doing and not going at it blindly hoping for the best. God only know what it will look like by my due date lol

Wish i had a bit more energy too, by the time i help out mum and dad and get home i can barely make a cuppa never mind do the house work. Think that after tomorrow i may have to give mum her car back and as nicely as possible withdraw my driving duties for a few days so i can sort the house out.

Kindof we had fish n chips last night! To be fair that wasn't my fault though - we were taking them round to have tea with my grandma and grandad and that's what they wanted.

Mmm Pizza Hut was good. We got the hot cookie dough dessert too. Nom nom nom. I'm too full now though. Will I ever learn?!

ETA it's now been a while since I last saw my foof. I've been blindly tidying myself but even that's a bit difficult now. May have toget DH to do it for me. Not been tidying as often as normal as I don't notice when it needs doing so much on account of not being able to see it!!!
