    Hi all

Next time someone updates the list please can you move me onto the birth list. I was due 2nd Dec but had a little boy 30th Nov. Straight forward labour with Tenes and g&a, seven and a half hours and had a homebirth which I can not recommend enough! My own midwife came out to me and brought a student, the midwifes were amazing - even scrubbed my carpet for me. Little man weighed 8lb 2oz.

Thanks, huge labour vibes to those in need xxx

    Morning all,

    Congrats Tracy :D

Hi Fattybooboo  How are you both doing?

Som sorry about your dad, hopefully he will turn things around & get involved when baby arrives :) Wish I had a professional handyman to come and fix my house though!! Dad has fit a dimmer switch in baby's room & chipped off a load of paper at the same time...repainted it, only for OH to come home yesterday and say 'why's there loads of pink patches on the wall' (had also used it to touch up), err...that's because I used the wrong colour  See, a handyman would stop these things happening :rotfl:

Lou hope you're feeling a bit better today, xx

Elasti your SIL sounds a real character!! Just try your best to ignore her, x

Where's JHA? Hope you're ok if you're lurking, xx

OMG to the pant fetish person, how weird

Right must motivate myself up, just woke up after a middle of the night loo visit left me awake for a coulpe of hours in the middle of the night  Need to get myself to Homebase & B&Q and try to work out what paint we used in the nursery to fix the fact there's now pink patches everywhere, I know it was 'chalk white' but not sure by who, so I have a starting point at least!

Oh & get this for proof that my midwife is rubbish - went to post my HIPG form yesterday, had a quick read through, noticed she'd given my date of birth as the baby due date, and not filled in my date of birth. Went into the docs to be told I have to come back for the midwife to fix it, they can't and nor can a doctor  So I've now got my 28 week appointment on Monday, rather than the one after, doubt the money will be here before baby at this rate!! I wonder if she was trying to teach me a lesson after pretty much accusing me of being a pauper for asking for the form :rotfl:
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

I sort of caught up last night but my friend was here so didn't reply and now i've forgot :o So will go back in a min and read again lol. Friend was great she cleaned my kitchen for me while i bathed the dog etc and she stayed overnight so i have just taken her home as she has a funeral to go to.

Som thanks so much i got my SS delivery and it's taken pride of place amongst my other cat stuff i love it :D :T Will send yours when my ebay cheque has cleared which should be soon, saves 2 PO trips u see hehe.

Kindof, i received the parcel we talked about in PM, and very pleased, so thank you for arranging it all and i will go find her username to thank her myself.

Need to try and figure out the car seat base today, after finding the instructions online i'm not convinced it's gonna be as straightforward as i hoped LOL. I can't even print them off to take with me to the car so i might have to take my lappy out and hope i can do it before battery dies.

I am here - thanks for asking:o:D was trying to catch up but its all gone out of my head. I was having a complete panic about getting on to wish lou all the best - but i see c/s is tomorrow so i calmed down a bit:o All the best for scan which i think is happening today lou:D

Hugs EA - i have lived in some terrible flats whilst being a student and it is suprising how much little problems with your accomodation can get you down - i think cold and water leaks are the worst and you have had both recently :grouphug:

I did try to tidy foof area with cream when others suggested it a couple of months ago:o but it went all stubbly and yucky so i am just doing top and sides which i can still see - using a mirror :rotfl:

Feeling very stressed about appointment today with consultant - i dont know why:confused: I want to see halfpint on the scan - then i dont i want a suprise, i am ok about possible cs and then i am not:confused: Must just be normal to feel a bit stressed prior to these appointments:o

I had a mw appointment yesterday and was measuring a week and a half ahead at 37 weeks which is ok. baby is finally startging to engage - 1/5 engaged (which is 4/5palpable) and from fundal height is about 3.4 kg atm - now it has started to engage at last isnt too big and is in a good position (not back to back anymore), bp is back down and wee is fine - i really cant see a reason for a c/s:D:beer: but i am just going to go with the flow today:D appt is at 3pm

Sorry i have been a bit distracted:o i feel i havent been responding to everyone as i keep forgetting what people are typing:o

so huge hugs / labour vibes / positive c/s vibes / sticky bean vibes to anyone that needs them.

and a special hug to leopardlady - hope you are feeling better this morning:D

jha, good luck. If it's not medically necessary, don't cave in to a c-section if it's not what you want! Just remember you CAN say no and it's always your choice. Glad the baby's turned around for you (hoping mine's done the same!) and is already engaging! Mine was still 'free' at the last appt, so you all are beating me! :p

fattyboo - thanks for popping on to say hi!! I love when our 'graduates' come back on here ;) how's life with little Toby?

Well, DH & I have lots of plans for today and tomorrow...I figure by making plans will be the only way to go into labour (:rotfl:) so am trying to fill the days up, LOL...how sad is it that I'm excited to go to IKEA tomorrow? I haven't been a in couple of years, despite there being one right down the road! :o
