Keep meaning to do more and thought i would whilst on m/l but the time seems to fly what with cleaning and tidying and sorting out and appts. I am sure i had more time before i went on m/l.

Damn i forgot arnica! I'll add that to my list :D

Should i get the tablets or the cream?

I think the tablets are recommended, there are 2 types, one a lot stronger than the other (6c and 30c I think, dunno what the c means!) cos it'd be difficult to get the cream where you need it IYSWIM!! I bought the 30c tablets.

Hope everyone is ok finally got the baba sling from bizziebaby today, still waiting for the birthing dress !!

I thought you only get one thing at a time. once your name is down for getting something then they won't send the other thing until you have completed the review and then your name goes back on the system  this is what they told me when i put my name forward for a pushchair but as i was already testing a nite light and they hadn't sent me the form to fill in they said my name was off the system ans could go in for the pushchair that time.

I got the birthing dress and it packed in my bag already, it's about the only thing lol

Have you have a pre-op apt? or sare they waiting incase bubs turns? Mine wasn't worth it. They gave me pre med to take but last time i had pre-med i couldn't keep it doen so we will see. I have to go back hosp on sun to have the injection in the tummy to thin the blood. When they did that to my friend her waters broke and she had to stay in and have her section there and then.

Well i managed to get a front row seat at DS play but i sat on completely the wrong side of the room but i could still see him :rotfl: I'm such a div., shoulda asked him which side to sit!

Well i had a real feeling that today is the day, earlier. I'm not sure why, i feel a bit like an invalid cos of my calf muscle hurting so i'm limping and waddling. Need to do some washing tonight just in case, otherwise i can't put any normal clothes in hospital bag! My friend is coming over after work so will hopefully rope her into helping me make tea and stuff cos i'm soooo tired.

Need to bath the dog cos she stinks but thought i better take her out on a longer walk at the pond and let her get really filthy before i do that, feeling a bit guilty she's not getting as many walks as she'd like.
Not sure how i'm gonna fit that in tonight cos my friend is severely allergic to animals so need to sweep the floors and get them out of the way before she comes, she has an inhaler and epipen thing and takes shedloads of tablets.

Bit of a tmi question, but i wondered if anyone plans to shave down there in prep for their due date approaching? I didn't with DS but i know some people do.

Packed some more stuff into hospital bag earlier, so far i have (pasted from earlier post)

    Nighties
    Slippers
    Dressing gown
Sanitary/maternity towels (pack of 10 mat, plus pack of Always Night)
    Breast pads x 8 pairs
    Nursing bras x 2
    Shampoo, sponge, shower,
    Nappies x 10
Baby clothes (3 vests, 3 sleepsuits, cardis, 1 snowsuit for going home, hat)
    Baby blankets

So i still need to pack...

Pants x as many as i can find!
    Normal clothes
    Hairbrush, bobbles
Cotton wool? (am sure i bought some just can't find it!)
    Vaseline
    Towels
    Money

Still don't know what's going to happen when i go into labour, can't rely on my sister to be able to drop everything and come with me as she'll either be at work or stuck with the kids, and she's got a night out planned on Thurs for her bday... Think i'm gonna be royally screwed tbh, my mother has disowned me and i hate her sooo much i won't/can't ring her no matter how desperate i am.
  • Now 10 days til i am due & have been on ML for a week & 2 days & i'm so bored!!

Nursery is sorted, house is tidy(ish!), hospital bag packed. But i can't even seem to sit still long enough to watch anything on tv - nothing is good enough to watch!

Going christmas shopping in town tomorrow & friday but thats all my plans for this week. OH is off work friday & sunday so will be able to keep occupied then.

Am starting to think i will go insane if this little lady doesn't get a move on. Dunno what i'd do if she went 2 weeks overdue!
:j Very proud mummy to Evie Mae born 26/12/09 :j
Aims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy :D

In a word YES! I will have to anyway cos of me having a section there is no way i am letting them do it when i can or hubby can do it.
I prepared myself before i had ds again i knew the date as i went in to be induced so i did it the night before, I wanted to be not only nice and tidy :rotfl:but i think it helps if there is less there with all the bleeding, i felt cleaner if that makes sense  As it happened it was a good job i was shaved as i had a emcs and Mw came running in with a razor and a cup of water:eek: no foam and said oh your already done that is really good. Don't go mad but a nice tidy is helpful :rotfl:

how early were you for the play? I was on the wrong side for harvest not that i could see anything.

I would pack some face wipes to freshen up with. Handy for me being in a bed for hours, i am dreading the bed bath again! yuk!
