Is anyone choosing NOT to BF? I tried with my other four, without success and im just wondering if it would be worth the pressure of doing it again?...I dont want to have PND and i honestly think I would suffer with it if I tried a 5th time and failed.....again
I have choosen not to go down the BF road , as i tried with all 3 of mine years ago and just couldnt get on with it , and found it distressing , so this time i have decided straight away its bottle for this little man,Morning all,
Oooh totally not preg related but wondering if anyone knows, if you pay your water bill direct debit to Yorkshire Water, how many months of the year do you pay? It's not been taken for this month and it's a few days late, but the first time I noticed was this year in Jan, they didn't take Jan, Feb, March, so not sure if it's just wrong, or if they actually only take 8 months? Hope that makes sense!!
My water board ., Anglia water , only take 10 months and you dont pay 1st feb and 1st mar , they start all again at 1st april ,
this goes for council tax too , 1st feb and 1st mar you dont pay
HTH.,

Hi Ladies and gents
Well i have had a mildly productive weekend! I am seriously struggling with the nausea and tiredness!
Well i did spend a couple of hours standing in Morrisons collecting for Cancer Research, and we collected over £156! so that was good
We also tidied downstairs so at some point we can put some decorations up
Well i also got my first midwife appointment, this thursday, so we told our families so we could ask about family medical history.
Anyway i am going to try and get on with some work, but am feeling soo soo sick today it is very hard! Oh well, all in a good cause (at least that is what i keep telling myself)
Labour vibes alwaysLeopardlady

So half of the nursery furniture was sold out when I just went to order it, but got this instead from argos which I really like however it doesn't include the cotbed mattress - anyone have a recommendation for a good mattress??
I'm thinking about this one but don't really know much about mattresses0 -
Hi everyone,
Had my scan this morning and I'm on.............(drum roll, please)
Team Blue!!!
Anyway, we're really pleased as now we have one of each.
Baby wouldn't turn round though, so I'm going to have to go back for another scan just to be on the safe side. I was also told I may have to go for another scan at 32 weeks as baby seems to be 'low lying' - I could have told them that before - it feels like it's trying to escape all the time....I have choosen not to go down the BF road , as i tried with all 3 of mine years ago and just couldnt get on with it , and found it distressing , so this time i have decided straight away its bottle for this little man,
I'm pleased I'm not the only one. DH and I made the decision not to this time, as I found it really traumatic last time, and I can't bear to go through it again - it really spoiled my first couple of months with the baby. Mind you, I haven't yet told the midwife (haven't actually seen her for long enough:rolleyes:) and I'm not intending to tell MiL as I can just imagine her reaction to that!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

I'm going straight to bottle for this baby. I BF for about 6 weeks with DD1 but felt absolutely awful and was sure I had PND, so switched to bottle and felt so much better about everything. For DD2 I BF whilst in hospital (for about a day) as they didn't really seem to be set up for the bottle, but as soon as I got out I switched to bottle. For DS1, I had him in France (that's where I live now) and they actually prefer you to bottle feed and actually provide all milk and sterilised bottles for you. It was so much better for me and I have enjoyed having a baby so much more. Therefore this time I will also bottle feed just because I feel it is the right decision for me.DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!
