Beenie, it is a bit pricey I guess, but personally I'd much rather do that and get freesat from sky than freeview ;) We caved in & signed up to Sky though, & hubby is now planning Crimbo & New Year viewing soley based on Sky 2 and Sky 1 listings I think! I'm trying to resist adding the 'health' or whatever it's called channels too, so many baby programmes on.. I'd like to see that obese & pregnant programme. :o

We have 2 duvets on the bed to help conquer any duvet disputes! Bless your DS. Have you asked him if he would want to come to the hospital with Mummy to see baby sis being born?

Lots of ladies on here are so calm with it all, like you, & I'm already struggling with my breath just walking over the road to the shops, let alone doing any of the things you're all up to!

oh and MS finally got me this morning, luckily someone else was in the shop with me at the time as I ran to the bathroom _pale_ 14 weeks feeling sick without actually being sick though! :)

    Morning all,

Wow SJ that looks like a right bargain!

Som I'll have to add that camera to my list :) Talk of cameras prompted me to start looking again last night, it's such a minefield!

I feel your pain Beenie, I have an eBay cheque to bank and seriously cannot be bothered to drive to the bank I want, it's millllles away.

Lots of labour vibes for Always this morning :D

Been up since the crack of dawn today, I was laid on my side and it felt like baby was trying to bust out. He's also started to kick OH in the back if I lay facing him :rotfl: 7am is definitely his wriggling time! It's ok though, needed to be up early as my dad's coming round to sort out the dimmer switch in the nursery for me, so have got up & dressed, eaten and tidied, now just need to package some eBay parcels and wait for him to arrive.

Oooh totally not preg related but wondering if anyone knows, if you pay your water bill direct debit to Yorkshire Water, how many months of the year do you pay? It's not been taken for this month and it's a few days late, but the first time I noticed was this year in Jan, they didn't take Jan, Feb, March, so not sure if it's just wrong, or if they actually only take 8 months? Hope that makes sense!!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
  • Thanks ladies, I had thought I had done quite well. I wanted curtains and I'm pretty sure they would have cost me £50 on their own so I'm feeling pretty chuffed.

GF no idea about your water bill I'm afraid - we pay ours DD but it comes out every month I think. Maybe give them a call?

I've been up since 8 but not done anything yet, just sat on the sofa in my pj's under the spare duvet watching tv! I did have my cornflakes though.

Thanks for the rockets, but i may need lots more after i posted i pottered around upstairs tidying, i should have had a rest but i want it all done and next weekend we are hardly at home as we have 2 birthday parties and hospital apt.
About 30 mins later he came up to see what i was doing as he wondered why i hadn't come down to watch tv. He managed to pick up some of his clothes that were on the floor on his side of the room then promptly sat down on the bed and watched a film! while i carried on. I did keep having litle goes at him (done nicely) I do know he is under quite a bit of strain with uni and still in full time work but it didn't shift him.
He did say he can't believe how able i still am to do things and how busy i always am so maybe it is my fault if i do everything then he is going to let me isn't he? but i can't take the chance if i don't do stuff or say i can't will it get done?

He is meant to be putting the border up in the babys room tonight as he didn't do anything at the weekend. We will see!
He said he wishes he had took the week off before baby is due now so he could do stuff. He did when i was expecting our ds.

Iv'e got my pre-op apt today have you had one lou? Iv'e got to have a MRSA swab done but don't know what else. I think i will take a water sample incase. Hubby can't make it so i am going on my own :(
    This is my signature!
  • I am getting out of breath really easily now. And I get BH's every time I go upstairs or walk anywhere!

Beenie here are some links for you to compare http://www.freesatfromsky.co.uk/freesat-how-it-compares.aspx http://www.freesatfromsky.co.uk/faqs-freesat.aspx#q3

A quick google of 'freesat vs freeview' comes up with all the links I clicked saying freesat! Up to you though of course ;) It's got to be easier to get sent a new viewing card in the post than fiddling about with an aerial and reinstalling channels?

Oooh thanks Lauz, interesting. Shoulda just done that instead of getting Virgin really, but i do like having the HD stuff and the V+ recording etc. :o I better ring them and ask them to send someone out to fix my faulty box . so unless they try and charge me or something i prob won't pay for the sky card yet, handy to know what to do though, just thought i could use it as backup. Might get a card to use upstairs though, hmmm/
