NP Som, I won't pretend I know anything about camera's :rotfl: just been working from reccomendations we've been given, wish I knew more so I could ensure I don't buy a pants one like the one we have now!!

Aww Always, lots of labour vibes for you, hopefully tomorrow will be the day you go in and come out with a baby :D
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
  • Grr! my hubby needs a rocket up his bum! Again the weekend has come and gone and what has he done? This house will so not be ready for the baby. So it looks like i have a jam packed week of tidying, cleaning and general de-cluttering of the whole house  When i wanted it all done this weekend so i could relax. I have 3 hospital/ Mw apts and ds school play also this week.

Granted he made a lovely roast dinner tonight but that is all. The whole of saturday was spent with him putting the tree, decs and lights up!

Was it nickynoo08 that wanted a boots changing bag voucher? I have one spare if she wants it. I have just found it in the babys room and i am not going to use it as i have so many packs of nappies that were a glitch for £1 and got the bag last time i was pg.
    This is my signature!

Meltdown - sounds like your well organised, that size of family seems miles away for us as its taken 6 years to get this far, just hope LO isnt an only chiled and we will be blessed a second time around.

    I am blessed, I have to admit:D

Gymfiend.....it is crazy money, but sure it comes once a year and I start preparing for it in Jan..(although this year it will probably be FEB:eek: as Jan will be preparing for baby month:rotfl:)

Is anyone choosing NOT to BF? I tried with my other four, without success and im just wondering if it would be worth the pressure of doing it again?...I dont want to have PND and i honestly think I would suffer with it if I tried a 5th time and failed.....again:confused:

Right im heading to bed now as I have an early start in the am........getting the troops organised for school!!
    Baby no 5 due 10th Feb 2010

Well i'm an idiot, got all the Xmas decs out and realised i'd thrown away the lights last year, cue disappointed DS cos we have to wait til tomorrow now! The tree isn't looking too healthy either, some of the branches are loose, but i am going to make do and see if i can get one in Jan dirt cheap for next year.

Got some of the other stuff up though and spent hours cleaning the downstairs of the house, didn't realise how dusty it was  Spent about 2 hours trying to fix the V+ box cos ex took the pliers to it in a spiteful rage before he left, leaving the connections loose and i disturbed it when cleaning so it broke, seems ok for now though but better ring them up. Thought i could use my old Sky box as a freeview box for backup but got a 'no satellite signal' message so not sure why that is

Anyway enough of my ramblings, Always i hope something starts happening soon! Sure it won't be long now if you lost your plug!

Gym - trying to avoid dissapointment too and I know V little about cameras also, found that one after looking on jessops web site. Yesterday popped into one of their stores and the sales assistant was singing its praises too, the store even had a working one we could play with as they use it for passport photos and stuff.

Always - More labour vibes for you hun, think maybe your MIL and mine are from the same cloth. She has bought her own PC, travel cot (with extra matress + sheets), change mat, bibs and oodles of other not so cheap stuff and we are only about 4 miles away!!! Sweet but crazy, and the PC wasn't anywhere near cheap at £175. While my Mum who is about 150 miles away has nothing yet (altho there is a PC in the works) cos she isnt quite as mental hehe!

Beenie - bumer about the lights hope you can pick some up sor a good price.

Elasti - incoming rocket for hubby...oh and I ordered another for next saturday morning hehe.

Well tree and other decs all up, want a few more tho as only one side of the room has decs, tho they look fab. Ironing is done (hate ironing!) and dinner all nommed :D think am gonna head up the wooden hill, am reading the Subtle Knife atm and for a kids book its not bad. Oh well there went another weekend..

went round to inlaws earlier as dp had to help his dad fix the kicked in fence and MIL been shopping again - we now have more towels at their house than ours, a spare changing mat, a huge pack of pampers and a thomas the tank feeding set (that'll be for next Christmas, she likes to be prepared!). I wouldn't be surprised if they've got a spare cot and buggy stashed away somewhere even though I've said loads of times that'd be silly as they are only about 3 miles away!
That's like my mum she has a carry cot and loads of clothing a bath, toiletries right down to terrie nappies, bottles and a sterilizer.lol infact she could have the baby from day one and all i would need to give her is milk.

Sorry i should have explained, i used to have Sky, and still have the dish and setup, so just plugged it back in to the Sky wiring hoping to get the free channels through that, my mother hasn't had a Sky account for years but still uses her box for the free stuff.

I can't even get the terrestrial channels or freeview cos i need an aerial putting on the roof, so reliant on Sky or Virgin since i moved in! Virgin won't be blinking charging me, it's beenlike that the whole time, dodgy box you see :p :rotfl: It doesn't look damaged, just the screw in bit is loose cos moronface tried wrecking it cos he'd paid the install and god forbid me and DS getting any pleasure out of it  This was when he stole my car and took the Wii at the start of the school hols, such a nice man...

Ooh just remembered, from last nght when i was posting about packing hospital bag, i didn't even think about towels til today, i can't remember taking my own towels in with DS but i'm sure i did. Also going to take a sponge or flannel cos i remember having showers in hospital and hate just using my hands and the soap!
