congratulatins , and sticky vibes for you hun xx,
Well just been in my local H & B , and told her what i wanted , EPO , calcium and omega 3 , she looked at me and asked who had told me to get these things as they are not recommended in PG, EPO also is linked to epilepsy, at this time she kindly apolpogised and said she wouldn't sell me these ,
,
Oh just read the big pics on all the above and every one states consult your doctor before taking any , i think i will talk to my consultant before i order and take any to be on safe side ,Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
nikkit, of course it's good to talk to your consultant/MW but remember that shop floor staff aren't exactly highly-trained professionals, so I would take anything they said with a grain of salt and don't let them scare you. They just have to cover their bums so don't get sued.
Welcome bumblebee & congrats! So glad to see you again!
3 - that's a really nifty technique for freezing mash if you've got loads of different-sized people in your house LOL
Well, successfully got some button-down PJs in Primani. £1 cheaper than Peacocks so not like a huge saver or anything :rotfl: but also got a pack of el-cheapo black undies (for afterwards!) for £2.50 which you can't really beat.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Racheal - Hi and Welcome, you're due 2 days after me
MGEB - so glad you're ok, been really worried about you!!! Don't worry about not feeling maternal towards your brothers baby. You'll be a fab mum (again) when it's your own LO.
kindof - glad your scan went well, your pics are fab
Always - lots of labour vibes for you!
Bumblebee - hope your scan goes well tomorrow, lots of sticky vibes for you.
I went on my works xmas do last night and had the most amazing time! I really didnt think I would enjoy it as I don't usually get up dancing until I'm drunk, and I was pretty desperate for a glass of wine before I left as well!! I ended up on the dance floor more than anyone else (Coz i knew the songs the older ones liked and the ones the younger girls liked as well lol) and didn't get home until 1.45! Do you think pregnancy alters your inhibitions coz I felt so comfortable and relaxed?!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Ooo, nothing in an hour and a half? We've just been outside playing with installing the car seat. Let's see how well we can remember when we actually HAVE a babytop 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I went shopping, full trolley, £90 worth of stuff  Not sure how much of that was actually food though
I used my luncheon vouchers that i get for doing surveys and save up, so held up the queue big time with £16 in 50p vouchers :rotfl: Also used some other vouchers and £30 in saving stamps so only paid £35, good job i had those or i'd be even more in the red this month considering it now looks like my 'mother' isn't putting towards my sons Wii for xmas
That's taken up most of the day, it was pouring down when we came out of the shop so i came inside for a rest before unloading the car, which took about 7 trips. Then it's just taken me about an hour to unpack it all and now the freezer looks even emptier cos i threw out loads of old stuff that i've not used in over a year lol.0 -
Bumblebee - thats fab, congrats. Love your avatar hehe.
Kindof - I got the same, they were half pricePlan on consulting MW on Fri but as am all healthy and no allergies can't see it being an issue
gill - sounds like you dhad a riot at your works do, have mine on Sat, hope I have your energy
jha - glad your leg is getting better, baby moving vibes to ya xx
Well went to yoga and kinda dinged the car :embarasse :shhh:. Ok so no real kinda I did, cought the metal rail that marks the walk way. Was suprised how easily the bumper collapsed but now it looks a mess! Think it may have been weakend by the fact that OH hit a concrete post a few months back and I cought the same spot. Anyhoo the front of the car now looks a right state and there is no way we can afford to fix it atm, think am gonna have to wack some gaffa tape on there cos the foam under the bumper is showing, why do these things happen at the worst time!
Been shopping and picked up a free packet of New Born Huggies I had a voucher for, will keep them for emergency use as plan on using nature nappies, but never one to miss a feebieAbout to put the tree up and decorate it

Does anyone know where I can get any maternity dresses/long tops from?
I wore this one from peacocks last night
http://www.peacocks.co.uk/Womenswear/Dresses/Day_Dresses/BLUE_PIXELATED_FLORAL_DRESS_-55961029.html
And it was so flattering. Loved the fact that it emphasised the fact that I'm pregnant rather than making me look fat. I'm after more that are similar that I can wear with leggings either casual or quite smart, and some in black or grey that I can wear for work when I get too big for my blouses.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Hi all!
Hope everyone is well. Welcome & congrats Bumblebee!!
Well, 12 days to go & still not even a hint that bubs is anything other than happy & comfy where she is! Really would like her to come on time if not early.
Kind of ready now - hospital bag half packed & list written for other half. I do seem to be packing a lot of stuff tho, thinking maybe i am going over the top slightly! Or maybe everything is just bulky.
All bedding & clothes are washed, crib & moses basket are made & all ready with bedding, car seat in car. Just need some final bits sorting in nursery & we're done! Unless i've forgotten something vital????
Also kinda getting there with christmas presents so just lots of wrapping to do this week while OH at work. And tree & decorations are up. :T
