Yay Kindof....i agree!!! go Joe go Joe go Joe, lol! I so hate the fact they make you wait till tomorrow for the results show. It's no fun!!!!
Baby has been thumping me so much i now have what feels like period pains
Baby nephew is crying again - god that baby has some strong lungs!!!! He is tired so very miserable. I think he needs to learn to stop fighting sleep and give us all a break! Aarrgghhhh i am going to pull all of my hair out soon from frustration....i keep telling myself i must be taking this worse than norm because of pregnancy hormones
I have just been told i need to put my daughter to bed ???????? !!!!!! it's a saturday night, she has just watched x-factor with me, is still playing happily and we have no plans for tomorrow so even she'll lie in. God i don't see the problem!!! I keep being made to feel like a bad mum just because i am lenient with her (unless she is naughty then i am strict). Surely allowing a 3.5 yr old to stay up for a while on a saturday is not that bad is it?
Oh i just want some me time....grrrrr!!! Never ever again!
I get this alot from my brother too, he is a fair bit older than me and always tells me what's best for me. I thought the tables would turn once he had the little one as i have more experience at being a parent. Nope!!!
I am scared we are all going to fall out at some point over this stayMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
Hey all. Well we went to the German Christmas market in Bradford today but it was rubbish! Wanted to eat there but wasn't anything to eat apart from dodgy looking pizza. We ended up getting KFC on the way home instead and that was rubbish too!
Enjoyed spending the day with DH again though.
Hugs / labour / stay put vibes to all in need
I just had a chocolate milk, a classic bar and an orange club and now I have reflux. I shouldn't be surprised.0 -
MGEB.......breath....in..........out......in.....out and repeat.
Just be straight and say i have made the decision that i want her awake so as we all have the benefit of a long lie tomorrow, don't take any more notice of things like that as even the worst parents like to pass opinion on others parenting skill's. I've had it from people who let their kids stay up to the early hours at the weekend lecture me about letting mine stay up late to ten..go figure lol[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

mgeb - I dont see that there is a prob its not a school night and you dont do it every night.
kindof - which epo and calcium did you get?
Wish my mum would start knitting again she used to make some fab stuff for us when we were little including toys, but dont remember her knitting for at least 18 years now.
Anyone elses OHs blow hot and cold when it comes to doing stuff for them, one minute Im being pampered and the next it seems like he doesn't give a flying, then he goes back again.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Som I'm really lucky with my DH, he does pretty much whatever I ask of him. Sometimes he forgets if he doens't do it right away, but he'll do it when I remind him. He gets me little treats all the time too. Like the other night he finished work at 2am but called at asda on the way home to get me some new leather gloves cos he knew I wanted some. I found them with the car keys when I got up for work the next day with a post it saying "Because I love you" on it. Bless him!
Hmmm, was going to say something else but forgot what it was. Baby is definitely feeding directly off my brain.0 -
Is it wrong off me to be wishing OH would take ill so i can eat his dinner lol I'm hungry again.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Well i didn't get as much done as i'd planned but i've washed all the baby clothes and bedding, and put it all away in the drawers that were full of junk.
I only put the newborn and 0-3 in the drawers, and have separate bags of clean folded clothes in 3-6 and 6-9. I didn't iron anything though just took it out of the dryer and folded it up lol.
I've cleared 3 bin bags worth of stuff from cupboards and drawers just from my bedroom alone, was quite brutal and threw out some sentimental stuff, not all though.
Have made up the moses and crib... Moses is doing my head in cos i can't get the hood to stay up  Could do with a bumper for the crib if we're allowed to use them? I have seen them for cribs but thought you could only have them in cots after 12m? I never had a crib with DS, just looks a bit draughty/open to me, lol.
Also started packing hospital bag... So far in there i have:
Nighties
Sanitary/maternity towels (pack of 10 mat, plus pack of Always Night)
Nappies x 10
Slippers
Breast pads x 8 pairs
So i still need to pack...
Nursing bras x 2
Pants x as many as i can find!
Normal clothes
Toiletries for me/hairbrush etc
Baby clothes (3 vests, 3 sleepsuits, cardis, 1 snowsuit for going home, hat)
Baby blankets
Dressing gown
Cotton wool? am sure i bought some just can't find it!
erm, can't think what else right now, any suggestions? - i can't find anyone else's list too many posts to go through :eek:0 -
Beanie - wow seems to me you've been pretty busy
How about lipsalve, muslins and some munchies/drinks for your bag? Oh and some vaseline I heard this recomended as makes easier to get those first yucky poohs cleaned up.
Well up to go to yoga but having a hard time getting motivated, have to leave in 20 min so really should go shower. Its absolutely chucking it down out there thoBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Not at all!!! :rotfl:I only put the newborn and 0-3 in the drawers, and have separate bags of clean folded clothes in 3-6 and 6-9. I didn't iron anything though just took it out of the dryer and folded it up lol.
I wouldn't feel bad about that at all, I won't be ironing any baby clothes. I only iron shirts really and can't see that anything that small will need ironing!
Not sure what I'm doing today, maybe go to Sainsburys and get my baking supplies as have 2 weddings coming up this week. DH's football is cancelled cos of the crappy weather so he can come with me and carry the bags0 -
Does everyone know that Holland & Barrat give 15% cashback on Quidco? I just realised, glad I didn't place an order the other day, going to do it now though!0
