I bet if you google it you will find some instructions, I found some showing me step by step how to replace the screen:D although I haven't got round to actually doing it:rolleyes:

Considering the EDD list is huge, this thread is very quiet?

Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
  • Morning ladies, bumps and AB :)

I'm ok today but cold!! Sat on the sofa under a duvet with my hoodie on and the hood up!!

So I still haven't had my HiPG paid :( I sent off the form just over 3 weeks ago now, anyone else send theirs about the same time?

I really want to get the nursery ready now so think we might order this range this week. Planning on getting cotbed, wardrobe and dresser/ changing table.

Oooh and I finally got around to buying my birthing ball yesterday! Got the cheapy one from argos for £6.99 and it'a great. I think as I get bigger I will be quite happy to sit on it watching tv etc as it's getting hard to get off my big, deep, low super-comfy sofa now!

I'm reading, rather than posting. Really trying not to get too excited just now - scan on Friday (expecting to be 12+4 by then) and I'm terrified something isn't going to be right so trying not to jinx myself just now! I really don't know why I'm so worried, I've not had anything, other than having very few symptoms and what feels like stretching pains, to suggest anything might be wrong. GP on the phone seemed to think everything sounded fairly normal too. I think I've probably read too much and now I'm worried that I'm going to have a missed miscarriage or something.

I really need to stop being a worrier! :o

*goes back to reading until she thinks it's safe to stop hiding*

    !

me too SJ , i did phone them and they said wait 4 weeks then call them
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec
  • Esio trot best of luck for your scan, although I'm sure everything will be just fine!

I think we all worry a lot that things won't go right, especially in the run up to scans and especially in the run up to the first scan!!

I was worried sick before all mine!

Stretching pains sound like a good thing though, as it means everything is growing and developing! As for a lack of other symptoms, that isn't bad either, although it doesn't give you much reassurance it is at least meaning you are being quite well. I had very few symptoms early on.

Try not to worry and hope the next few days pass quickly for you! :)

Thanks nikkit! Well hopefully they are just a bit slow at the moment then!

Hiya jha I'm glad your cat is on the mend.
I started slimming world in march and when I found out I was pregnant my consultant gave me a form that the midwife has to sign at each appointment, otherwise I'm not allowed to go anymore but luckily my midwife thinks it's great that I'm managing my weight so is more than happy to sign it. I've lost 2 stone so far and had to buy new maternity jeans in a size 16 cos my 18's hung off my bum :rotfl::T

I had to pop to Asda earlier so I met DH after work and we walked round together, we're standing in the queue and this skanky woman, who smelled of wee, starts touching my bump and asks if I know what I'm having. I say "Well everyone thinks it's a baby, but I'm still holding out for a pony!" I had to drag DH away before I started laughing but it served her right :rotfl:

LMAO That is sooooo freaking funny

Sorry you dont have your grant yet SJ, I need to send mine away, I am off to the post office in a bit

    Morning Ladies.
There was some info about swine flu posted to a yahoo group I subscribe to and thought I'd pass it on in case it's of use to any of you are unsure about whether to get the jab or not...
Swine flu is supposed to be specifically more dangerous for pregnant women, and young people in general, and there is more of it around too. The Dept of Health's circular to GPs is quite well referenced and you can find it here:
    http://www.dh. gov.uk/prod_ consum_dh/ groups/dh_ digitalassets/ documents/ digitalasset/ dh_107825. pdf

Some other sources: the RCOG statement published in The Lancet claimed that:
"Findings show that pregnant women are four times more likely to be hospitalised when they have H1N1v flu when compared to the general population."

    http://www.rcog. org.uk/what- we-do/campaignin g-and-opinions/ statement/ rcog-statement- article-% E2%80%98% E2%80%99- h1n1-2009- influenza- virus-in

And this page might be useful - NHS list of documents regarding swine flu and pregnancy, including on antivirals and immunisations:
    http://www.dh. gov.uk/en/ Publichealth/ Flu/Swineflu/ InformationandGu idance/Pregnancy /index.htm
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
