Yum, sounds lovely...although I am not sure what cantonese sauce is like:p Is it anything like soy sauce, which is what is in most chinese food:rotfl:Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

I dont know lol Ive never had it but I fancied it and googled it and it says this:
Classic Cantonese sauces are light, mellow and perhaps bland compared to the thicker, darker, and richer sauces of other Chinese cuisines. Spring onion, sugar, salt, soy sauce, rice wine, cornstarch, vinegar, scallion oil, sesame oil, and other oils suffice to enhance flavor in most Cantonese cooking, though garlic is used heavily in some dishes, especially those in which internal organs, such as entrails, may emit unpleasant odors. Ginger, chili peppers, five-spice powder, powdered white pepper, star anise and a few other spices are used, but often sparingly.
And I like all them so I thought why not go for it lolDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Evening ladies
I had two very welcome letters when I got in from work tonight. One was to say that baby was in the low risk category for downs syndrome after my quad test (even tho stupid midwife told me I'd only find out at my 19 wk scan if there were no problems) and the other was inviting me to go for my swine flu jab. Phoned up straight away and have got booked in for 8.20am tues. The only thing that's worrying me is that I have a mad busy day ahead of me on Tues so hope it isn't going to hurt too much!
PP - sounds like you've got a really difficult decision to make. The only thing I would say is that perhaps your hospital will sort themselves out after having such a bad write up in the paper, because everyone will be looking for faults. It's probably the best time to go there, before they settle back down into their old ways!!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Gill - great news on the low risk result:D:D
I can't advise on the jab, I haven't had it and probably not going to......But from what I have read about others having it, I thnk it is ok at first and gets a bit sore later on or the next day. Hopefully someone who has had it will confirm:)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Gill -That's great news about you being low-risk.
Don't know about the jab - I'm due to have it tomorrow morning and actually I'm feeling quite nervous. Oh well, soon be 10.30am....Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

oooh good luck Redstar - let us know how you get on!
Feeling a bit narked coz my assistant mgr has phoned in sick for tomorrow. Well her sister actually rang me, which means she hasn't followed procedure, and it isn't for a particularly good reason. I've had to ring around to try and get cover then have to ring the regional manager (on her day off!) in the morning to tell her. It won't look good coz she's thinking of applying for my job while I'm on maternity leave - think this will be a black mark against her now tho. It's a shame coz she is a little star most of the time.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
