Hi guys, sorry I went AWOL on you, been a long few days here!
I have news
Baby Ryan James arrived last night at 7.28 pm. I started on my own and got my homebirth after all! Biggest shock all round is he is only 9lb, seems absolutely tiny to me and is such a relief after all the palaver.
Anyway, we're both fine, if a bit shell-shocked. Will come back with birth details and some baby pics when things have settled down a bit.:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -
Huge Congrats kelinik - so glad you got the birth you wanted. Stupid midwives with all their scaremongering lol
Look forward to seeing your pics and hearing more about it when you get chance.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Huge congrats Kelinik, glad things went well for you, enjoy your mummy cuddles!
Courgette, the only way I have found to make myself feel more comfortable in my clothes is to wear a belt underneath my bust and above my bump, as it defines the bump very nicely and makes you look PG rather than just chubby! I wear lot's of different belts over dresses with leggings, or wear longline tops with a belt or tie up cardy on top! HTH.0 -
Congratulations Kelinik!!!!

Courgette, I'm pleased that the scan went well.
