No hair on my stomach with the 4 lads and I lost my eyelashes everytime
With my girl I had a hairy stomach but kept my lashes.
  • Hairy ? - Yes, especially on my tummy ( on team yellow so I can't confirm it's a boy thing )

re buying baby things I started before I was pregnant picking up bargains here and there, I've got almost everything thank goodness as I really couldn't be bothered doing the whole baby shop thing - I know some people love it but to me its just another chore
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

Afternoon all! Just spent the past 1/2 hour catching up on the thread and now I cant remember half of it! :)

Im glad Im not the only one with a hairy tummy though! I am so tempted to have it removed but worried that I will end up having to do it for life... and eyelashes falling out? :rotfl:Oh my days... they dont tell you about this in the books do they?

I want my Pumpkin Patch order! Jealous of Pigpen!

Good luck to those having their babbas tomorrow! :j Im feeling more excited about this one now as ive started to get more organised!

Finally getting the keys to our new house on WEDNESDAY!!!!!! :j:j:j Have been getting sooooo stressed about it all, lots of messing about by others and living out of boxes for weeks... Ordered carpets today. Wallpaper, etc on Thurs/Fri. Furniture over the weekend... We are actually going to be able to have a place to put bubba's stuff!!! :T

Feeling in a much better mood although all this excitement seems to have set off lots of BH today! Put all bubba's washing in today, even took a picture of all the vests because they look soooo cute! :p

    Hello ladies
Re prams, i think i asked few pages back if anyone has any experience/comments about Mamas and Papas Ultima 8 in 1

Its my first and i have no clue about anything but deeply in love with this one
    http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-ultima-8-in-1-mpx-chassis-mimi/259718701/type-i/

This is the one we (I!) chose, but the car seat didn't fit in our car, even with the isofix base. We decided the whole point was to have everything so no point having a car seat we can't use so have changed our minds to a silver cross linear.
Personally, I liked the M&P as it's a good robust one and I hear it's great for off roading. We do a lot of walking and I don't expect to be needing to go on buses etc with it. I also liked the build of it, it all seemed snug and when I tried to break it in the shop I couldn't :)
I also like the solid handle I don't like the ones with separate handles. The other thing with this is the car seat is really heavy so bear in mind if you plan on carrying bubs in it. Only my opinion but if the seat had fitted OK this is what we would have bought. HTH

I have had the pram in the house since I was about 9/10 weeks pregnant.. and I've had the pram before I had all my others too.. apart from DS1 as I simply didn't have room.

I also have the car seat and a box of toilteries and nappies.. very few clothes though I did get a fair few bits half price when Adams was closing.. and a pack of sleepsuits and a pack of bodysuits when I last went to tesco..

And some very lovely blankies from pumpkin patch.. and some adorable fluffy peeps.. and some sleeping bags.. and some swaddling wraps... :D:D:D:D

Scan went well and have managed to not ask gender either :D Was quite difficult not to ask though, the temptation was so strong. My placenta is at the front though as I suspected which is why I haven't been constantly beaten up from within :rotfl:.

So as a treat I took myself shopping for some nice maternity clothes (I'm still in non-mat stuff with lots of safety pins and bump bands) and I couldn't find anything that I either liked or didn't make me look like a huge heffer :( Feel really fed up now :( I did get a dress from Next but I might end up taking it back, I'll try it on again in the morning.

Speaking of equipment though, we have our pram in the living room already and it's been there for a few weeks now. I suppose I should probably get on a bit now with getting other stuff
