Got the bathroom to paint but everything else is wallpapering! Bloody annoying old wallpaper to take off as well:mad:
Then next job is a major furniture shift in bedroom. Who said us pregnant ladies should take it easy??:rotfl:Like you said... it doesn't do itself (and DH can't seem to do it by himself either;))
I think you and me should start our own decorating business!!:DBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
CAFC- Bubs was oblique and my MW was freaking out about it, but like you I'm not worried, they still have plenty of time to turn so I'm just doing everything I can to persuade baby to turn before my scan in 4 weeks. Purely because I really can't be bothered with the extra hassle of being referred to a consultant etc.
There are loads of things you can do to encourage movement of baby that are quick and easy and even if they don't eventually work will do no harm. eg Swimming, somersaults under water can encourage them to turn, wriggling hips on all fours, lying on left side and doing leg lifts on right side, pulsatilla, reflexology etc etc...0 -

CAfC - hun i feel for you, the itching sounds horrendous. I have had seriously itchy tummy and boobs and usually have to soak in the bath to sooth it and thats bad enough, mine is for ridiculous amount of stretching though as my belly and boobs are covered in stretch marks now - i hope it goes away for you soon!!!!
I know i have said it before but have a look on this website: http://www.spinningbabies.com/ It'll give you some info on helping naturally turn baby yourself...you need a helper and a big shawl/scarf thing (a sheet'd prob do).
And guess what, to my dismay my bubs has come back up toohe is now breech, at first MW thought it was a bum but she called another in and they both decided it felt more like a head
but they have said if it was that easy for him to pop back up (just from yesterdays check) it'll be just as easy for him to go back down
and i'm 32+4 now...they can go back down whenever they feel like it, espesh now as they still have a lot of space, it's when you get nearer the end of preg that they get cramped and it's tough for them to manouver. Don't worry too much yet - just get jiggling and help bubs turn as best you can
My little man is a crazy little fidget either when i'm in the bath or trying to sleep - you can see the whole bump shift massively and see him turning about, it makes me feel sick when he does it too.
I had my other 'bum needle' today as my daughter calls it, lol - blimin hurt again, at least this MW was more gentle, the one yesterday litterally stabbed me with it and i yelped. And they saw me for all of 30-45 minsIt was fab getting in and out so quick!!!
I did write a reply earlier regarding a few things people mentioned on my list but my lappy died mid message so i gave up....sorry
Hope everyone is ok tonight though! x
I'm contemplating Chessington on saturday - lol not for any rides, just to take DD to the zoo and sea life centre in there and generally have a nice day out with her before bubs comes. We have decided if we do go i'll be hiring a wheelchair as my back and pelvis are taking a tough time at the mo and i can barely stand for more than 10mins. I really wanna go, just scared to be so far away from my hosp and home...what to do, what to do?x

Evening everyone...
Well, the sleepsuits on Pumpkin Patch got me too!
CAFCGirl: I feel for you, having issues with pelvis too, just about managed to walk around Asda for 20 mins today without crying! And braxton hicks in the middle of town isnt a nice feeling either! I think a few old ladies thought I was going to give birth there and then...:rotfl:
BudgetBlonde: When I found out I was pregnant, I had massive itchy rashes all over joints- never been allergic to anything in my life! The doc at A & E actually said it was just a reaction to something and sent me home with a bit of cream- he literally looked at my arms and that was it! I returned the next day (it was during weekend, docs not open) when I started vomiting too only for the nurse to reveal I was pregnant AND I had such a bad water infection, a rash appeared due to the white blood cells in my urine.
A nice bath with good calmomile could do the trick or just soaking your feet in it. Hope it clears up soon.
MYLITTLESISTERLOLA:
Congrats on the scan! Sound similar to my experience. The MW had to get me to lie on my side whilst she literally hold the baby in one place by pinning my stomach to the bed... bubs wouldnt keep still.
And to all those decorating... Im soooooooo jealous! Me and DH are supposedly looking at a new home next week as we currently live in a tiny 1 bedroom flat that council says were not allowed to keep baby in- there wouldnt be room to breathe! Just hope everything gets sorted ASAP, can't imagine having to move house, go to work and still be pregnant at the same time! Ive read many stories on here where ladies have given birth pretty much the day after they have moved house!
Mega HEARTBURN today too! Was drinking my Gaviscon out of the bottle at work today, the kids thought it was hilarious... "what does it taste like miss?" "Chalk and toothpaste mixed together..." "Yum!" (NOT) Hopefully that will help reduce the teen pregnancy no's a little- doing my thing for society and all that.First baby born 10/06/10:heartpuls 6lb 10z:heartpulsI love my little family0 -
Hi everyone just popping in to say I am still here ! Due tomorrow ,sorry not read back any post's had a really bad day ,had my first ever migraine and actually thought I was dying (without sounding too dramatic lol ) hopefully catch up tomorrow x0

Evening ladies, congrats to all the new mums.
Cafc - not sure if I can help with the itching, but I suffer from exzema, so always have itchy skin and it hasn't got any better in pregnancy. My tricks are cold things - running under cold water, leaving me feet outside of bed at night etc. I also take anti-histamines (prescribed ones) so its probably best to ask the doctors. The best thing is to try and not scratch it - though that never works with me as I do it in my sleep!
Silly / strange question for you ladies. This is my first, so am not sure what I should expect to feel in regards to bubs moving. I have heard it described as flutterings, or like butterflies. But have never really had butterflies, so have no idea what to expect. I have been having strange feelings in my belly today, they dont hurt, but feel strange. Is this likely to be bubs? If not what would you guys say it feels like?0 -
Mine felt as though as I was being tickled by my clothes! My friend described hers as bubbles poppingMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

When ive felt mine move at first it has felt like a bit of gas trying to escape or a little belly rumble. They are so slight somewomen do miss them thinking its their digestive system and wind trapped. I've always found that they came more so when i was inactive so maybe spend a few minutes in bed at night just concentrating on your body if you get these strange feelings you can bet its baby having a little fidget :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
