MJS - I know, why must people make such personal comments?! I've had total strangers making all sorts of comments ranging from 'well, you're not very big, are you?' to 'you're huge, are you sure it's not twins?'. And no, such comments are not funny or clever so don't expect me to laugh ...... can you tell that I'm losing my sense of humour now?

I am so stroppy noone DARE touch me lol.. and I talk to so few people at school noone would pass comment unless they wanted their head placing up someone elses bottom.. I have no time for rude or ignorant people.. though it has only been common knowledge for the last week at school 3 people have told me how wonderful I look, but that I am absolutely huge.. which I know already.. and it won't get any smaller for people pointing it out! I gained 5 stone with 3 of the children and so far have managed 1.5 stone.. at 18 weeks!!! Good job mine come early!! lol. On past experience I have about another 14/15 weeks .. to get my kitchen, bedroom, girls room, DD1's room and the boys room decorated...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

PP - I managed to put on more than 6 stone with my daughter!!!!! Literally, the week that I found out I was pregnant this time, I hit my target weight for the first time since she was born (4 and a half years ago) and now I'm doing it again. I started out well this time, but I'm piling on the weight now - I've now managed to put on 3 stone, god knows what damage I'll do in the next 3 weeks...

Hi everyone, i am just joining this thread. I am 12 weeks and one day pregnant. I have been scared up to now about losing baby, i read too much on the internet i think, i did have a scared two weeks ago as i started bleeding, but thankfully everything was ok with baby, i had a scan to check and baby was all curled up sleeping.
Its so amazing seeing them on the scan and knowing that baby is inside me growing.Married 09/09/090 -

Redstar - My recent avatars on facebook came from t-shirt links that someone posted here a while ago - one saying 'Yeah, cos 'OMG You're Huge!' Is an appropriate thing to say to a pregnant woman' And the one i have now which says - 'I may be huge, but at least i dont say stupid things to pregnant women!' wishing i'd bought the t-shirt tho!
Welcome Moneysaver12! Congrats on your pregnancy and the scan. Hopefully you can relax into it a bit more now. There's loads of good advice floating about this thread and people willing to answer any questions you've got so dont be shy!

Thankyou Mo.
I didn't think that i would be able to breastfeed because im on tablets for my underactive throyid but when i saw the midwife she thinks that i can breastfeed. I would need to get a pump to express milk as not long after baby is born i will be back studying at uni. On the days im at home i will be able to feed myself and evenings. What is the best pump, i think i would like a manual one.
I have just been reading back a bit and omg at some of your midwifes its terrible the way some of you are been treated. Im lucky with mine, i have only seen her once but she is lovely and seems to know what she is doing as also she is been supportive as i have to have a pre birth assessment done when im 24 weeks which is worrying.Married 09/09/090 -
Aw pigpen - that sounds awful. You are all a strong fighting family then!!! Lets hope your now DP is going to give some better luck with this pregnancy and it all goes smoothly for you for once! x :A
I watched one born every minute last night and spent the entire time in floods of tears over those babies in special care.
I am terrified too that i'll go into labour soon, i had a show this morn:eek:...terrible crampy pains last night, for the last few days i have had that enlarged down below feeling too like when babies engage and the excrutiating stabbing cervix pain quite a bit over the past few days. Bubs has been head down for 4 weeks now, as i'm in and out of appointments alot they keep checking. Also 2 local people yesterday mentioned that my bump has dropped right down and both thought i was due in a week or two (yikes).
So to wake up this morn, have diawoowoo and nausea and heaving, then alot of bloody (just pink) mucus has left me a bit nervous. I ended up in floods of tears and saying to OH please don't let anything else go wrong becuase i'm near breaking point now. I am only 31+1 so waaaaaay to early but if everything else is anything to go by so far in this crazy pregnancy it wouldn't shock me that much if he decided to make a very early appearance - i just really hope he stays put for at least another 5 weeks as i am so not ready for the emotional rollercoaster of SCBU, it'll be like the final straw that broke the camels back iykwim.Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

Thanks Redstar, i really need them, lol!
Er, i just read my post back and went ''ewww'', sorry if it was TMI for this time of the morn, lol!
I'm off to ebay now - having to quickly get rid of big bundles of my daughters baby/toddler clothes as Ebay are imposing that stupid £4 max postage charge as of friday - you can't send big bundles for even nearly £4, it's always at least a blimmin tenner, grrrrrr! xMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0
