its all hes ever wanted to do, since he was like 7, and what he doesnt know about the fire service isnt worth knowing LOL

Gonna have to do some housework today and pop out to morrisons for his lunch stuff and some dinners for me while hes at work....
And then I need to see if you can download the maternity allowance forms from internet and get started on those.

P.S Does anyone know if you receive a letter from the HIP grant people telling you when its gonna be in our account or do i just need to keep checking my account...???

Morning ladies, I've not been posting much this week but am always here lurking. Kindof, I'm glad things seem to be looking up with Ellliot and that you can get him home soon

Just collected my Bounty pack from Boots. I must say it's not very exciting! I thought the free packs were much better than a tiny tub of nappy cream and a free nappy. Ah well, I didn't pay for it so what can you do? I also treated myself to some stretch mark cream and some shampoo, what an excting life I lead!

    Hope everyone's keeping well

    xx

Me neither. Just had a look at the change bag too, they actually seem worth getting. I think you need a voucher and then to buy a pack of nappies but I don't know where you get the voucher from

Well that's really nice of them isn't it. How to make someone who's already really upset feel loads worse. Good grief. For what it's worth though they're not THAT exciting.

Big hugs Smartie, try not to worry about Monday (easier said than done I know)

I agree that the Bounty pack was abit of a dissappointment, I also had a pack through Emmas Diary and that had more it in but still nothing special. I sorted through both of them the other day, chucking the leaflets that I didnt want! Its best to sign upto product websites, and see if you get any freebies, I have had a small tube of Brepanthen (if thats how its spelt!) a baby room thermometre, Aptimal Polar Bear, some breast pads, milk storage bags, and I cant remeber what else!

Weight wise I lost weight with the morning sickness, and think I hav put that back on (about 1/2 a stone) I am 19 weeks now so expect to put on some more.

I never thought about buying one of those automatic swing things, what is the best buy with those, as they seem quite dear? My only prob is we are abit short of space, but I am not buying a pram til bubs is born or a cot until they are a few months old.

Tescos are doing some cheap babies clothes at the moment; i love the Winnie the Pooh stuff, bought 5 bodysuits for £4 the other night as they have 20% off clothing atm.

I didn't think about a baby swing thing until I read back on here kitkat. I've been having a search and they are quite expensive but from the reviews I've read are well worth it!!

I have no idea what one we would get??? I guess it's a case of looking out for a bargain ;)

Smartie, try not to worry about Monday. You've both made it this far, so am sure all is good. Bug hugs to you x

I also agree on the Bounty pack - free wipes, nappy and washing tablet. But then suppose it is free. Not picked up my Emma's diary one yet. Best thing I have got is the 1/2 price huggies newborn pack, which I managed to get in ASDAs sale, so only cost me 50p.
Has anyone got the free Huggies mum and baby bundle from Sainsbury when you buy a pack of Huggies newborn nappies? Is it worth it?
I also have the Aptimal Polar bear, and got my SMA muslin square yesterday. Nothing from Boots as yet.

Weight wise, I dont want to know. Am sure I way a tonne as cant stop eating. Eating makes me stop feeling sick, so eat virtually constantly.
