Hi everyone I'll like to join the thread I'm 28 weeks preganant with second baby due 12th June - feeling fine at moment but everyone keeps telling me I'm huge this time I've put on about a stone and a half and I'm fairly active but ate quite a bit early on as the minute my stomach was empty I would feel sick - felt ill for first 18 weeks very different from my first preg where I felt fine. Gained about 2 1/2 stone with my first who is 5 now but I weighed less when I fell pregnant last time.Mam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0

ymake- DD is a redhead so baby pink doesn't look that great on her. I find Asda, TK Maxx, Next, M&S and H&M brilliant for non pink baby clothes. I like bright colours on children and have always managed to find lovely bit's in these places, just means you have to shop around a bit though. TBF we are quite lucky now, when we were kids you had a choice of pink, blue, white or yellow. My mum used to have to make clothes for us to get us anything a bit different.
As for weight gain, I'm not even looking!!! With DD I was 3 stone overweight before getting PG but only put on a stone while pregnant and lost it straight away. I was determined to lose weight before getting PG again and lost nearly 3 stone, I think I've put back on all the weight I have lost, but not anymore so far, however still got 3rd trimester to goOh well! Will be back to the long walks and healthy eating once bub's is here. I think my main problem is with DD I only craved healthy stuff, I normally have a really healthy diet mainly of whole food etc, however this pregnancy I have gone off everything I normally love and can only manage to eat junk, this also means I feel yukky and tired all the time too- Urgh!
I have cereal with milk for breakfast (muesli or Cornflakes) Then normally an OK lunch salad in pitta, wrap with salad or a sandwich, then dinner normally lot's of veg etc so meals are OK, the problem is then on top of that I eat loads of crap!! I have had McDonalds chips loads and prior to this PG I hadn't eaten anything like that for years and years! Choc too, and normally I don't have dairy so no cheese etc, and I constantly crave it so since being PG I have had loads of cheese, cheese toasties, cheese pasties etc!! I better enjoy it while I can!0 -
Hi Kevea and Sales Shopper congrats and welcome.
I have loads of stretch marks from previous pregnancies.....
Had a nark at dh last night about how he obviously finds me repulsive, and I couldn't care less because I am not going to try and compete with his 'computer' Then spent all night sleeping with my back to him on the edge of the bed!! Considering this is our 4th baby I would have thought he should have got the hang of the fact that I feel completely insecure and on top of that feel like a big fat frump.....It doesn't take much to just give me a little reassurance.
Had planned to take the kids to the park today but it is pouring down., I am not that bothered as I seem to have woken up today not feeling very well:( We are going to have film night tonight, we'll buy some coke, choccy and popcorn and watch Coraline once the littlest one is in bed.
Hope you're all well xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Welcome to the newbies.
Kindof I think in your shoes I'd do the same. You'll probably be calmer at home too which will help.ymakesmile wrote: »I'm actually finding the clothes thing a bit of an issue with having a girl. I really don't want everything she wears being pink! It seems if you want to buy baby girls clothes they are all pink and it drives me crazy. Don't get me wrong, I want my little girl to look girly but just not all pink! What's the bet when she gets old enough to pick her own clothes, she will want them all in pink
I have 2 daughters and felt exactly the same when they were bubs. I used to go for things in lemon or lilac (we had lots of lilac!!) which I felt were still feminine without being pink. But yes as soon as they were old enough to express an opinion pink took over the house LOL, the oldest has only really come out of it in the last year and she'll be 10 in july.
Well I've been sorting, cleaning, cooking and tidying like a mad thing the past few days. Been awake more and more overnight but have more energy now than I did months ago! Am starting to think little man isn't going to keep us hanging around but I'm only 37+2 so hoping to have at least another week to finish getting straight. I also now have 4 canisters of entonox in my room - party at mine anyone?!:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -

I'm very anti pink if we have a girl. My friend had a little girl and dressed her in little pink dresses straightaway. She says I'd love all the dressing up in pretty things... ummmm no I won't!!:p
