Kindof - sounds like a fab appointment Hope the BP stays good for you. Let us know if you find any you tube vids, I have one that came with my ball, maybe I could copy it! We only added Movies a month back to keep me occupied and give me something to watch in the wee small hours hehe. Will take it off again when I go back to work.

Well swelling in fingers gone down but still there and my feet are a lil fat but have been for a few days now, hope thats a good sign Mum just told me via FB to get a move on LOL.

Unfortunately not, not here anyway. There is a statutory obligation for them to consider an application for a reduction in working hours submitted by qualifying parents but they are not obligated to grant any request if there are business reasons which contraindicate it. They can look elsewhere in the company (local authority) but there are no guarantees there will be anything suitable to offer me.

In my lower back and bump. But they are only mild managable pains. Going to sit on my ball for a bit now

CAFC - Its first come first served here, there's only 1 birth pool (and only 2 rooms anyway) so hopefully no-one wants it when i go in

Gaaahhhh The NHS! Finally spoke to the midwife today bless her, she was very nice and quite annoyed about the doctor's receptionists fobbing me off which has meant I've had no scans or appointments and apparently has gone in all guns blazing this afternoon and ordered them to tell ANYONE who is not available for booking-in at 3pm to be given both her number and the number for the maternity unit not told oh well if you can't do 3pm this week there's one at 3pm in two weeks time....:D

Just means I get my booking in appointment four weeks late and after 8.30PM, in the maternity hospital, providing no one is in labour and needing her at the time :rotfl: Any Bournemouth ladies cross your legs please!

Oh well. Have to bribe my best friend into babysitting tomorrow night. Roast dinner should do it

Hi everyone, sorry not been about for a few days. I was away at the weekend and needed a few days to recover! lol

been trying to catch up on here but 14pages!!! I cant remember half of what i've read!

Muso - I have a high BMI (over 40) and not been told to see anesthatist... had extra scans and a glucose tolerance test but nothing about the epidural stuff you mentioned. Hope someone can give you some advice, but i do agree with whoever said - they do seem to like frightening those of us with high bmis! Considering this is my third baby you'd think they'd be happy just to leave me be but it seems to be even more hassle since my last one 4yrs ago!

BIG LABOUR VIBES!!!! I was expecting a whole squad of new babies by the time i logged back on here and there's none!!!

Gonna go and see if i can get the kids to bed so i can sit and watch OBEM!! Lets see how much shouting at the tv needs doing tonight! lol
