Cafc- I'm hoping for a water birth too. The midwife said to me it's first come first served but she said it's not often that they have 2 women wanting it at the same time, so I'm hoping I will be able to use it.0

Well my day has just gone from good to bad to the worst ever. Some little sh*t in the street who will remain nameless has just tried to set fire to my house. Two fire engines and 1 police car later and nothing can be done as no one actually saw him do it. His bloody mother is next to god damned useless and has no control over him what so ever if he isnt at school he shoved outside and left to his own devises she also has 4 other kids 1 of which is only 4 and is left to wonder the streets too they are gobby but not really any trouble unlike the other one. I feel like drowning the little brat in cut!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
So next pay day looks like i am forking out for CCTV as im sick to the back teeth of him we will catch him and he wont get away with what ever his next little game is!!!!:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -

Its not the first time EA he has scratched numerous cars in the street wrecked next door metal fencing , graffitied the walls in the ally, kicked all the vent covers of the houses, trashed the ally gate and also broken mine as well, Stolen no end of doorbells from various houses and i caught him once trying to climb up my 1st floor railings to get into my house but until this year he was too young for the police to do anything and this latest thing goes beyond him being a naughty little sod this was down right dangerous/lethal we were all in the house at the time. If and when his mother ever has the audasity to try and speak to me again i may get arrested maybe if i take it out on her she may start doing something to stop him!!!! I'm going to have a glass of wine and calm down sorry ladies.
Happy bump thoughts and labour vibes to those that need them :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -

Just got back from antenatal class - what a total shambles and waste of time!
The whole antenatal care is a bit up in the air at the moment as they have closed the maternity ward at my local hospital and split the midwifes and all the patients between 2 other nearby hospitals. It's been planned for quite a while (at least 12 months) so they've had plenty of time to prepare for it.
The leaflet I've got said that classes would be at the original local hospital on a tues at 19.15. I was advised to phone and confirm, which I did, and was told they were going ahead as planned.
Turned out they had changed the times to 18.30 last minute but noone had told the midwife doing it that it should have been at another time. We got there at 19.00 with another couple and had to push into the circle, then another 20 - 30 couple came up to and around 19.15. The midwife handled it really badly and was getting really shirty and exasperated as people were arriving. Everytime they said "I thought it was 19.15) she would say "no 18.30" and not explain that the time had been changed!
I honestly didn't learn a single thing, she talked about the stages of labour, then we had a break and she talked about relaxation techniques. She hadn't prepared at all and was stumbling and stuttering and we spent about 20 minutes with her asking everyone what they could do to relax and then writing it on the board!! She was from the hospital I won't be going to so geared it all around that hospital so was totally pointless from my point of view. DH is normally really placid but he was fuming too! Anyways, really dont need to lose an hour and a half out of my night so definitely not going to any more! Going to make DH watch one born every minute with me instead, pretty sure we'll learn more from that!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
xmas - that really is shocking behaviour. His mum is obv struggling to control him. Can he be reported to the council as well, perhaps if you and other residents write a letter, the mum may get some support on controlling to the little !!!!!! bag..... I dont know how you can go about getting an ASBO.....
I'd be printing out loads of pages on internet on how to control unruly children, and details of support groups etc and posting them through her letterbox.....she's probably living with blinkers onWealth is not measured by currency0
