Afternoon ladies cant stop long so will catch up later.
Well i went for my second midwife appointment today all is well bloods came back fine. I've declined all the tests for downs syndrome i dont see the point in having them had them with the others and they all came back very low risk and even midwife agreed i would still be low risk. My next appointment isnt for another 14wks eek!
I have got my date for my 20 scan though which is on the 9th april the day after my birthday :-) I'm thinking PINK !!!!! :-D:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
:j Sunday is a good day to have baby EA it's my dd2's 6th bday-and when she was born in 2004 it was a sunday too and she's a lil star:j

Busy mummy of 4.:j0 -
ymake - aww you make me really want one, why dont you have them now? We know the cage we want when we get them, its a mahoosive thing from Pets at home, will cost more than the rats!
Nikkit - eek no boiler still! At least the emersion heater/tank is getting done tho bet you cant wait.
LMF - think anyone who txts will either be ignore or Ill say something sarky!
Just found this web site, looks like a fair offer so am gonna give it a go when I have some cute pics of bubs http://www.hotprints.com/.
We don't have them now because we have 3 dogs and a giant house rabbit plus I knew we would be trying for a baby, so once my old rats had passed on I had to call it a day with them for a while. Personally I wouldn't spend my money on a cage in Pets at Home, they are extortionately priced and not normally very nice. It's best to get one online and we ended up buying an indoor ferret cage for our last 3 boys. It's massive, half the price of what we paid for a cage half the size in pets at home and very good quality. But thats my 2 pence worth. I despise Pets at Home and don't like giving them my money0 -
Hi everyone! Hope you're all well.Welcome and congratulations to all the newbies and new mummys and babies!:j
28 weeks now and went for a scan this morning (for the study we're doing). Was so much clearer than last time and they confirmed that it is definately A GIRL! She even yawned when we were there. Also had to have some blood tests done again for the study. I have really deep veins and they all have trouble getting too them. Today they ended up giving up cos they're not crucial. One arm bled really badly and I can feel it bruising already:(
Does anybody have experience of meeting the anaesthetist in relation to their pregnancy? I've been told I have to meet with him because of my high BMI and the difficulties of placing epidural. Can anybody enlighten me on what will be discussed and how much choice you get?

Yay for team pink! Its the best team..
Choccy- Well from this poem, sunday seems an ok day
Mondays child is fair of face,
Tuesdays child is full of grace,
Wednesdays child is full of woe,
Thursdays child has far to go,
Fridays child is loving and giving,
Saturdays child works hard for his living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.
I was born on a Wednesday lol. Im full of Woe

I agree. Actually I don't like any pet shop that sells pets but I think that's down to how much I've had to do with rescue animals/centres, I'd never buy an animal again myself.
If anyone is seriously after ratties I have a savic freddy2 cage sitting in my loft that I'd be willing to part with. Good starter cage for a pair of rats that will get plenty of out time.ymakesmile wrote: »We don't have them now because we have 3 dogs and a giant house rabbit plus I knew we would be trying for a baby, so once my old rats had passed on I had to call it a day with them for a while.
V. jealous, we plan on house buns once bubs is a bit bigger. :T
And back to 4d scans, think we did the £140 babybond package and that included photos and a 7 min long dvd of my little boy having a fidget and bopping himself on the nose! :smileyhea:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -
Oh i had a 4d scan lol. Mine was £120 for a 15 min scan with 1 a4 printed pic. I then paid an extra £20 for a cd of images.
Was longer than 15 mins though as baby was being an awkward moo and wouldn't budge out of her very wrong position lol.0 -
Oooh kelinik thats good to know you have that cage, if we get moved this year then I'll be sure to come via you first
ymake - will def seek advice before I go ahead and buy anything anyhoo, but thanks for the info. Hopefully one of my many friends will have some baby rats around the time we need them so I dont have to buy, other than my hampster along time ago have never gotten animals from a pet shop usually from friends, breeders or rescue.
Muso - woohoo for deffinate team pink, not that me or EA are biased hehe. Sorry cant help with your question
xmas - yeay for appt all going well. I was shocked too by the huge gaps in appointments at that stage, with only the scan. I had an extra private scan and a listen to bubs heart beat at the baby show inbetween tho so that was handy.
Well am finally dressed and just had some tomatoe soupAlso phoned Sky and changed out phone over to them so we now have their full package, works out £7.72 a month cheaper for us and as it comes billed in with the broadband and TV is one less bill to worry about. Every lil helps and when you think thats £92.64 a year its a good saving imo. Been good and payed off all my catalogue too while we have the money (no council tax this month woot! have hidden the remainder in the savings account to put towards car tax and MOT!). So should be a cheap month March all going well, ok maybe not thinking about the cost of Booming parking at the hospital, oh and petrol!
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

I'm not sure if Peek-a-baby is only in my area or not but hey do 4D scans that start at £89 for a 10 min dvd and 3 photos or £129 for a 15 min dvd 4 photos and a CD with between 30-40 pics on it. It may be worth a look as they are alot cheaper than other places ive found :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
