Kindof - think we may pinch the idea of the choc theme when we get our rats. Its gonna be a while yet but me and OH have really wanted a pair since we moved here. Next dog we get OH wants to call giggsy after ryan giggs!
Have you had rats before?? Wispa is the first hamster I've had, my mam hates little things like that so I was never allowed one lol
So as soon as we bought this house we went to the pet shop for a "look" and came out with Wispa lol
He was the last one of his kind in the cage and apart from thinking he was cute as hell lol I felt sorry for him lol
LOL Boo Man U fan lol (just kidding lol)
I cant wait till we get a kitten, we were going to get one when we got back from Cyrpus in July, but we were unaware our TTC efforts were going to work so fast lol, we fell pregnant straight away lol, we only had sex twice in the period we could fall pregnant lol so we were lucky, but it put kitten on hold as OH didnt want us to get one (cos of the cat poo, he's very protective lol) so now we've decided to wait till we have our human family complete lol then get a kitten
EA - The dress for Lily is gorgeous
Aww DP thats great, I am pleased you are going on hols
Esio - Thats the same as me, although I know I can deffo do my 3 x 9 hr days but I dont know if I am going to get the days I want off, same reasons here, cant afford full week of nursery (actually cant afford any nursery till credit cards are gone) and I would like to spend time with beany as well lol
EA just try not too have too much food lol, cos loads of people have too much food on lol
DP the breastfeeding lady at my session said you more often than not dont need the Lanisoh cream, other creams work and if your baby latches on properly then you shouldnt need it lol
MGEB Thats a perfect match lol
Som I am looking forward to it, I can see us now comparing how wrecked our OHs are once baby is here cos all they did in the run up is sleep lol
Choccy YAY for your DD getting the school you wantedI am sure your scan will be great xxx
Its funny about the rats, cos our hamster is a boy and he doesnt smell, but my aunty has girl hamsters and they do, maybe she doesnt clean them as much lol
MGEB I love Primarkthanks for that, I might go take a look at the BF nightie
I managed my last shave the other day (when I was 38 and a 1/2 weeks)
Fingers Crossed SomI dont feel like elliot is ever going to come out!
1more? I deffo think OH should short out the 4D scan for missing the 20 week one lol
Morning all
Well I am sooooo tired (whats new lol) I actually had a good sleep, I was still up every 90 mins or so, but it was a good sleep, I think yesterday is catching up on me
I am going to get the curtains etc today from argos, I was laying in bed last night wondering if I could paint the kitchen, OH was like no, I am drawing the line there lol, he thinks I am nesting, he might be right lol, I really want to paint the kitchen though lol, its a terracota at the minute (I might take a photo for you's) I would like the walls painted white (thats the colour of the roller blinds and curtains I am going to get)
Crack on with items on the list, I really do want them all done before beany is here, my brother said I can have his computer desk (they dont have PC anymore) so thats great and it saves us £35 (was going to buy one) so I need to see if I can get OH to take me to Gateshead this weekend to get that from Michaels house
Just trying to decide what to do first, I should probs put the last wash in (of our normal clothes) have been delaying cos the ironing pile is quite high lol but then I think I may as well just iron it all together?
I am at MW at 3.30, lets see if beany has moved down further PLEASE beany lol

Are any of you ladies who are or, going to be on, maternity leave not being replaced? I have a sneaking suspicion that this is going to be the case with my manager, who from what she has been saying, is just going to divide up my 'sections' amongst my coworkers. I work for a national bookshop, and have quite a lot of responsibilities - in spite of my manager (who is a psycho, not just me who thinks this, she's knocwn as one) actually calling me !!!!!!. She won't actually acknowledge how much I do, because apparently I don't blow my own trumpet enough, so I think if this is the case, my coworkers are going to be in for a nasty surprise. I'm also not planning on going back there (boss doesn't know), but looking for work in my trained field instead.
Whoah, sorry for the epic so early. It just doesn't seem right, especially as we already suffer from low staff and zero morale in our shop. My colleagues are lovely, just the manager is a byatch!

Bexta I am not being replced, but slightly different scenario
I work for the DWP, and I work for a section on 12 people, out of the 100's that work in my block there is only us 12 who know how to do said job
So even though I am not going to be at work for nearly a year, they arent replacing me (therefore I still have my job on that section to go back to) the other 11 people will handle the workloadDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Just a quick thing about the lansinoh- I breastfed DD for 19 months and never really had too bad pain with her, she was a natural and so I didn't get sore nipples because of a bad latch- however at first my nipples were quite tender and other creams were rubbish at helping this. I also found it much more useful for growth spurts- even with the best latch in the world if they are attached 18 hours a day it is going to get a bit uncomfy. Also my periods came back at 4 months and I BF while pregnant this time round, so when you are hormonal your BB's get really sore and a bit of lansinoh really helped with that. Also great for cracked lips if you suffer
I don't work for them honest, just that it is soooooo much better than other nipple cream IMO. You don't have to buy it though, ask HV or MW for free samples and they give you a little sachet, a couple of those would get you through as you use such a tiny amount!

:jYay congrats Smartie :j
Kindof, yeah girl hamsters STINK! our boy hamster is so tame and never smells but the girl is pungent (cage has a full clean every sat and her little sleeping house is cleaned out every couple of days)and she's not totally tame:(
Rats are the opposite though -smell wise
Hope Elliot has moved right down and all is well at MW's.
Labour vibes to all who need them, LMF is this your last day before induction? Or maybe you've gone naturally overnight?:D
Have a good day all xBusy mummy of 4.:j0 -
4D scans, we paid for ours out of the pregnancy grant and it was fab. Think I put a pic up here at the time, amazingly clear!!
As for ratties, I had 3 and adored them. Neutered boys are much better on the smell front than entire ones and tend to be more cuddly than girlies, although they all have their own personalities. When our last one went I decided it wasn't a good time to get anymore and sometimes I still miss them prancing around me of an evening, lovely pets ratties are!
Smartie yay!:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0
