I love my spotty dresses! They also have a tutu style skirt in mothercare but OH wont let me buy it
lol
Just ate a whole pineapple and am sat on my ball now, if the baby wants to come tonight im totally ok with it
Me and OH were just discussing doing a pizza buffet for our wedding, essentially ordering a load of pizzas for everyone. He said we should ask everyone to bring a pizza each from pizza hut/dominos instead of giving us gifts and we can provide side salads etc
I just dont know though! Wedding is only 13 weeks away and i feel i literally only have a church, reception venue and a dress! haha.0 -
thanks all - yeah seems to be around a tenner everywhere except ebay - darn it for missing sainsbury's baby event!
i will try the other brand thanks Som, but i read something about if you start using LL during 2nd trimester it can help with BFing and thought it was worth a shot - but now i just need something anyway cos i'm so uncomfy! i'm using E45 at mo cos it's all i have in which is helping a bit but need something a bit more heavy duty methinks
Have banana, carrot and raisin loaf baking in oven - mmmm :A0 -
Ok, it sooooo doesn't feel worth all the hassle now, lol (thanks Som for the help - worst thing is i knew that, just must have forgotten completely:o)
Hope this works:Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
oh wow that dress is amazing!!! it was def worth the hassle!
EA maybe you should wear that for your wedding dress?!0 -
I have heard from sis in law that some women in China scrub their nipples with a toothbrush or flannel regularly beforehand in the lead up to bubs arrival and apparently this helps their nipples 'toughen' up to what bubs will be putting them through. OUCH!!!! - but i might be tempted because b/fding hurt like hell last time - whatever you do though, make sure it doesn't make you give up. It gets better but in my case took a few extrememly painful days - after that bfding was a breeze until DD had quite a few teeth and decided to clamp my nipples a few times, i nearly flung her off of me each time she bit - quite scared myself!!!
Thanks Prudence - i love it too (haven't worn it yet though because i have got fat, sorry pregnant, lol) - wouldn't it look cute matched with Lilybump though?Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

Yeah, i know it is likely to be really hard and painful for a while, but i have to say i am pretty determined to be a BF-er, not in a stubborn way as i know every baby is different and i have no idea what will happen, at the end of the day you want you both to be happy, but i really believe in BFing so i am gonna try and power through! no doubt i will have a few days/weeks when i'm in agony though. SJ seems to have got on really well with it from the word go though which is encouraging!
don't think i'll be wielding my toothbrush anywhere near that area anyway!!0 -
mgeb - its so lovely and really really similar.
DP - not heard that about the nip cream, any idea whats causing them to be sore already?
EA - I like the pizza idea but not sure how easy logistically it would be for guests to turn up with pizza! 13 weeks eek thats gonna come around so fast, rather you than me!
Grrr yet again OH is asleep on the sofa! Really dont know how he is gonna cope when LO is here!Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Completely agree, even though it hurt like hell i did breastfeed for 8 months, exclusively for 6 and then a mix of bfding and formula (actually sometimes boiled cows milk too on MIL's guidance)...it's the best possible start so deffinately try not to give up when it gets painful. My sis in law was apparently crying her eyes out saying she couldn;t do it, everyday i'd send my bro emails to keep encouraging her (and him, it was hard for him to see her in pain) and she got through and was really thankful after that i'd kept pushing her to carry on everyday. It really is just a few days of pain for a much easier many months after....my fave is the not having to sterilise/warm bottles. And if your lucky no pain whatsoever...but i don't think i'll be one of those, lol!
Yeah, toothbrush on the nipples is too much for me too...might try the flannel - will prob cry my eyes out at just that cos mine are ultra sensitive at the moMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

Apparently it's quite common, after researching! My boobs have just generally gone a bit mad since i've been pregnant so i'm not too surprised by anything...
anyway i'll stop talking about them now... thanks for the advice everyone0 -
oh 1more,you have a cheeky baby
Hope your ds can wait 20 more weeks..
Welcome to Mrs RC :j
Am soooo pleased DD1 got the secondary school place we'd been hoping for,I'd literally done nothing all day, waiting for email and it came at 6.30pm lol :j
Ooooh EA that dress and other suit are so lush, Lily will look beautiful.
Som,we have 2 dumbo rats- they're great, the best pets, really friendly, affectionate, easy to clean and maintain etc AND they don't smell (well our girls don't- my mum has boys and girls and the boys do smell;))
I absolutely adore them although the last few times I have handled them I seem to have developed a bit of a sensitivity cos they make me itch and leave a lil rash on my skin:( But if you open the cage and let them out they just have a little run around and go back in when they've had enough.
I just have to make sure the cat is out first lol. The kids have 2 hamsters and I really don't have much time for them-the girl one stinks of wee
I have my 32 wk scan on fri- starting to feel nervous now i'm not worrying about dd's school, that was keeping my mind busy, that and kids bday party on fri night. God looking forward to saturday:oBusy mummy of 4.:j0
