Congrats to Nikki. I bet you're glad it's all over now and you can finally enjoy him.
I keep having the weirdest dreams. Last night I dreamt I was someone special with special powers, escaped from a lab somewhere and had hugh Jackman as wolverine chasing me!!! I will admit it was quite entertaining though. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
Morning Ladies!
Som - KFC was awesome, just two pieces leftover from him and his mates but i wolfed them down at 11last nite... up twice with heartburn but soooo worth it!!!
Agutka - sorry you're feeling so crappy honey! Hugs!
Guinea - Labour vibes to you hun!!
Pigpen - dont know that i'd agree with the comment re nhs staff getting paid over the odds - yes, receptionists can be jumped up (i tend to just ignore them! lol) and yes, Doctors do have god complexes sometimes but the amount of studying involved in becoming a dr, the amount of hours that they have to work, the responsibilities that they have, the amount of flack that they take from senior medical staff, nurses and patients...you couldn't pay me enough money to deal with all of that!
Kindof - i'm not washing new stuff... but that's just sheer laziness!
Hassle - welcome and congrats on your scan! I've got a 0-6month 2.5tog and 6-12month 3tog sleeping bag - i never used them with my first 2 and had no intention of buying them, but these were gifts so will see how we get on!
Well, I'm exactly 35weeks today! And i'm going on an overnight to my Church's Temple in Preston - about 4hours on a coach this evening, spend the day there tomorrow and coach back tomorrow evening... dunno how i'll cope can barely sit in one place for half an hour never mind 4!!
Just need to pack a bag... and make sure i take the right one and not the one full of babygros and nappies!
Off to the shops shortly to get some munchies for the trip... its raining tho, not good!
hope you all have a good day!

OH! I've not had any weird dreams this week... but lately they've all been based on end of the world/zombie type scenarios! Like Zombieland meets Survivors - George Clooney was in the last one too - pretending to be a zombie so he wouldn't get eaten by one! lol

Apparently she's worried that the baby's measuring small - I'm 32+2, but I'm measuring 30, so she's referring me for another scan for as soon as possible. I had to point out that I'm going away for the week on Saturday, and she said, well it'll wait until I get back and not to worry... how can I not worry, when she's just been telling me that she's concerned!?!
Try not to worry hun - 2cm out isn't very much and this way of measuring is very innaccurate anyway. There aren't many other places that measure like this.
Just need to have a quick moan, already cried all over DH. I had an awful dream last night about baby
I read somewhere that pg women tend to have dreams about their babies a lot, and half the time the baby will be perfect, half the time it will be really ugly or weird or bad things will happen, and this is nature's way of preparing women for every eventuality. It's normal to have dreams like this so don't worry. I had a dream when I was pg that my baby was all inside out!kindofagilr wrote: »Are people washing brand new baby clohtes? I am scared they will bobble straight away and ruin before bean has had a chance to wear them
I was told by someone in the clothing industry that all new clothes that come in from places like India etc are fumigated for fleas and bugs when they get here and all those chemicals are still on the clothes when you buy them. So I am washing all Alfie's clothes, towels etc.
Guinea, LMF, KT labour vibes for all of you and anyone else who would like some!!
Welcome to all the newbies and lots of sticky bean vibes for you.0 -
Oh I totally want KFC now!!0
-
nene - well done for updating the list, but you need to move KT she had baby Alexander last Sunday, details here. Cant think of any other updates atm. Oh and Hugh Jackman can chase me anytime lol.
LMF - not suprised you feel rubbish hun, am struggling at 39 weeks, so lots of lovely labour vibes for you xx Oh and hope you get your KFC too hehe.
Kindof - I'm washing all the clothes, only coats really Im missing. Alot of the baby websites recommend it because as SJ has already said of the chemicals. White items tend to have heavy bleaching too so def recomended. You dont need to use anything special all though all mine have been done in fairy gel and conditioner just cos it smells sooooo nice
Mo - your very brave, theres no way I could have done that at 30 weeks let alone 35, hope you have a nice time tho.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Uh oh....Another thing to put on my list on the Bad mummies thread...I never washed any of Alex's clothes but she didn't seem too harmed from it.What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
morning all
have any of you joined things like the tesco and Sainsburys baby & toddler clubs? I won't join yet until I know everything is ok but as I'm off work I'm surfing a bit and seeing what's available. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow, fingers crossed only 3 to go and 3 weeks 3 days til my scan!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
