I don't actually know how many pools there are...at least one?! Haha! At the water birth class we went to they said they do roughly 100 births a year in the water, so only 1 ever 3 days, so fingers crossed we'll get it :)

Good effort on the cleaning, we did the kitchen cupboards when we had the mouse scare a few weeks ago, pleased to say they still look ok :D

Delain it might be, an eight year old, two six year olds, and three babies ;) haha

Right I'm off to pack my bag and print birth plan then I'm off to the supermarket, fun fun fun. Then off to the parents for tea to feed my face :D
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
  • I've got pics of me in the pool if anyone wants a gander? You can't see any of my bits though. lol.

  • Right, here we go, I've uploaded the pics. I've smilied my face out as I looked rough, even only after 5 hrs. God knows how these women give birth and still have perfect looking hair and makeup in the end!!!

    Awwww :j

Did you find the waterbirth thing a good experience?

Like the smiley face, for some bizarre reason you made a scooter song pop into my head and now it won't go away :rotfl:

Btw, certainly from what I can see you look ok. I go out on a normal day looking more dishevelled than that (but with clothes on!!)

  • POSSSSEEEEEEEEE, I NEED YOU I NEED YOU I NEED YOU ON THE FLOOR!!

Respect to the man in the Ice cream van!! The man is a legend!

I was on the bed for 3-4 hrs and In a lot of pain, the moment they filled the bath I literally did a running jump to get in. It helped so much you wouldn't believe. I was able to move around so easily (apart from the contractions stopping me). The water lifted my belly and made it feel like it wasn't even there. They have to keep the water at something like 37 degrees so it's looooooovely and warm! :D

You even got the song right! :rotfl::rotfl: I love that song so much. Funny thing is, Ive always been into rock type music, heading over to metal/symphonic metal, but I have always really REALLY loved scooter :rotfl:

Will def ask midwife about birthing pools etc in my hospital, thanks for the pics :D

I was late catching on to Scooter, didn't hear of them till they did the logical song in Ramp :o

DD's all love it too. My brother has told them its music 'for raving' :T It's hilarious watching him trying to teach them all to rave in my packed living room:rotfl::rotfl:

I'd like to go too, if my brother hears of any UK dates coming up I will let you know!
