It's not fair....My tummy is continuously rumbling....
i eat ALL the time at the moment. It's ridiculous. If I don't eat i get sick, and when I eat I eat about double the amount I was eating before. I have two breakfasts, a snack, a big lunch, a snack, a big dinner, a snack. But as i said I've only put on half a stone since being preg, so all I can say is that when they tell you you don't need any extra calories to grow another human being, they are talking out of their @rses!!!0 -

DP - have only seen the soft carry cot and it seemed fine to me, infact probably better cos its less weighty and easier to carry. Its very easy to use and click/un click all the various parts I think thats one reason it was so popular, that and it just looks so chunky and cool, like the Hummer of puschairs lol. As for the size I think you'll be ok but havent ever actually tried it in a Megane so dont take my word for it, try measuring your boot and then compare to the product info here. Otherwise if you order from Mothercare and dont like it and havent used it then just take it back to your local store, we used to do this all the time for customers when we didnt stock what they wanted. That way you can have a good look at it
HTH.
Ahh thanks so much Som, yeah tbh I don't know much about the whole buggy thing, my DH has been doing all the research, and he's pretty much set on the Mura cos of functionality but just cos it looks so cool! Our friends have one and they totally love it, and their little girl is 1 now and still loves it.
I didn't know you could do that with Mothercare so that's good to know, I think we might do that, unless we can get it a lot cheaper elsewhere... they had the blue one on offer at kiddicare for £169.99 recently but we weren't sure and now it's sold out, gutted cos that is CHEAP!
edit: just watching some maxi cosi promotional vids, they are hilarious, so cheesy0 -
Glad all was ok with the docs Som
Gill can you order the monitor to store for collection? Then you can collect it when you want
The OBEM talk reminds me, I wrote at the bottom of my birth plan *Apologies if I'm rude to you at any point during the labour - I promise I'm not normally rudeI'll get my other half to bring you some chocolates when I'm leaving to say thanks & by way of apology if I am horrid!!*
Got sidetracked by cleaning - just bleached the bathroom and going to sort the kitchen too, outside looks really icy so think I'll give going out a miss til I have to later. Pelvis feels ok today so might aswell take advantage!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
i forgot you was in MK guinea, when your MW booked you in for induction , did she tell you to call first before going in , as the consultant at clinic , said to me dont call just turn up as if they busy when u phone you will be told to stay at home and keep calling every cpl off hours until a bed is free?? , but my MW specifically said i MUST phone first ... what to do ??? if i just turn up they wont refuse me apparantly , but i dont know if that is just rude
My midwife hasn't booked me in for an induction yet. Baby is due tomorrow so am sending vibes to baby bump to come out, come out, wherever you are!
If you are worried then I would phone them first, although if they say they haven't got a bed then I would thank them and then I would just go in!!Baby Bump born 4th March 2010! :kisses:
