  • ARGH!!! been up since 6am!! I was freezing and it seemed awfy dark... yup complete powercut, looked like the whole area was out, our street and at least the next one over! Can only assume it had something to do with the drastic amount of snowfall!!! Thankfully all warm and fuzzy now and more importantly back online! lol Its still snowing though... not good!!! Think me and DD are going to have a pyjama day and skip nursery - i'm not walking her there in this weather the snow is practically horizontal with the wind!!!
hope everyone having a better day than me!!
labour vibes to those still in need!!!

He is saying if you'd stood up for the last two hours instead of laying down you might have dialted more

I WOULD KILL HIM, how dare he talk to her like that, I would KILL OH, KILL HIM lol

I'm sorry, but if my oh was anything like the guys that have been on OBEM the last couple of weeks.... he wouldn't have gotten to baby number 3!!!!! ;) I just wanted to pull that man out of the room by the ears and tell him to leave her alone and to go try pushing a watermelon out of his a**!!! :rotfl:

conventgirl - I said something pretty similar to my OH too while watching that bloke, talk about moron!

Nene - My OH said he wanted to slap the bloke off OBEM so hope that puts him in the same cat as your OH :D

Kindof - hope the ball buying is ok, try TK Max if you have one, they have some fab ones for £7. My bubs back is on my right and no one has ever mentioned that being an issue, tho maybe its cos she sits at an angle so partially back to back.

DP - We used to stock the Mura 3 at work, it was really popular, what did you want to know?

Labour vibes going out to Nikkit, LMF, Pokey, EA, kindof and gym xxx

Well restless night as I couldnt get comfy but I did manage some sleep inbetween hips aching and twinges so not all bad. Getting pains atm like period cramps but am thinking it might be more constipation atm as have had bad wind (sorry maybe tmi). Baby girl seems to be seeing just how far she can stretch mummys tummy atm!

Oh and the best news, phoned hospital and 24hr urine sample was all clear :D so am a happy bunny. Still have extra appt with doc on fri, just to be on safe side and have BP etc checked.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:That's the exact words I used when talking to my OH about the show!

One bit from last weeks show that made my OH laugh very loudly was when the young girl turned to the young guy and said "I HATE YOU!!!"

God Steve is a !!!!! "I'm going to do it all naturally" taking the !!!! out of her cos she is having G&A

OMG I cant get over how childish and pathetic Steve is!!! Blowing up a !!!!ing glove, bloody hell man!

Mind the wife seems to love him, she's obv used to him being like that

Awww Liam was dead sweet there "do you want to squeeze my hand mum"

Come ON WOMAN PUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She doesnt seem concerned with pushing, I mean !!!!!! how many times does the MW have to say the baby isnt recovering its distressed, I would think that would make me !!!!ing push

Ohhhhh here's Lisa I didnt realise she was in the first one, her boyfriend is so quiet lol

Ooh did you, they didn't have it in our local big Mothercare (Bradford), just all the car seats.

Well basically i know it's quite bulky, which i don't mind in itself as all the reviews say this makes it sturdy and it pushes really nicely, but i want to know if:

    1) it's easy to click and unclick all the different bits, fold down etc.

    2) it will fit in our boot - we have a Renault Megane - cos can't find places that stock it, can't really try it out. I read a review where someone said they fit it in their Micra, so i don't think it will be a problem, but wanted to know if anyone had any other experience with it.

Also if the soft carry cot is good enough or if it's worth getting the hard one.
  • WHY AM I SO GOD DAMN HUNGRY?!?!

It's not fair....My tummy is continuously rumbling.... :(

My dilemma now is do I wait until I'm in work tomorrow or make a special journey out today? lol

DP - have only seen the soft carry cot and it seemed fine to me, infact probably better cos its less weighty and easier to carry. Its very easy to use and click/un click all the various parts I think thats one reason it was so popular, that and it just looks so chunky and cool, like the Hummer of puschairs lol. As for the size I think you'll be ok but havent ever actually tried it in a Megane so dont take my word for it, try measuring your boot and then compare to the product info here. Otherwise if you order from Mothercare and dont like it and havent used it then just take it back to your local store, we used to do this all the time for customers when we didnt stock what they wanted. That way you can have a good look at it :D HTH.

nene - am always hungry atm, its awful!

kindof - I thought Lisa and Will were really sweet and felt so sorry for them, especially when she was saying it was a 90mile trip and she couldnt be there all the time, and was jelous of the nurse feeding her LO.
