Morning!
Nikkit, I really hope you're off busy in labour this morningYou too LMF! Doh, just read back and you're still around Nikkit - I'd just turn up, s*d ringing them and hanging around all day.
I thought Dominique was brilliant on OBEM last night, and that husband was a twerp. I said to OH that I'd have punched him if he spoke to me like that, he said he doesn't doubt I would've haha!
Conventgirl I hope you managed some more sleep, x
Massive congrats KT & welcome to baby Alexander
DP half a stone is fine at 17 weeks, I think it's something like 4lbs in first tri then a lb a week in 2nd?
Wow Kindof, you really are all bump! How was Elliot measuring yesterday? Glad he's moved further down for you
Had a horrendous sleep last night - think watching Eastenders followed by OBEM was a bit too much on the baby worry front for me!! So got up this morning & watched the end of Couples Retreat, fell asleep when it was on the other night& have finished writing the birth plan we started last night, and got together a list for my bag, so once I can be bothered I'll pack that
It's snowed overnight but doesn't look too bad thankfully so gonna go for a wonder later, saw a really cute owl money box that I want for the nursery so will prob go buy that
Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -

Morning ladies
I'm stuck at home this morning waiting for the carpet for the nursery to arrive. Can't believe I had to get up and dressed before 9am on my day off! Can't wait till it's done though. I'm still struggling to find a suitable wardrobe. The babies room is the box room and the only place suitable for a warbrobe to go is on top of the box so it can't be too high. The one at IKea is unfortunately and they don't seem to do a lower oneI need one that doesn't have the drawers really, ie just the hanging space coz I'm going to have a separate chest of drawers at the other side of the room.
At the midwife this afternoon - really hope she measures me today. Dying to know if baby is coming up big/small or spot on. Booked my talk and tour of the hospital as well but it's not until April 7th. Start our classes next Tuesday so it's all feeling very real now
I watched one born every minute for the first time last night - told DH I'm not doing that lol. Don't know how I think baby's coming out otherwise tho!
Watched it straight after Eastenders as well so was a bit of an emotional night for me too! So relieved they all had good outcomes. That bloke on OBEM was such a nob! His wife was a bit of a drama queen but there was no way he should have been talking to her like that! I was screaming at the tv and made DH promise that he won't say anything like that to me. (not that he would anyway, he's way too nice lol)
edit - the midwife would've really annoyed me too! Just way OTT lol
Can't believe you're all still here....labour vibes for nikkit, lil miss flower, som, ea, gymfiend and kindof!!! (just thought - it's going to be really quiet round here when you're all gone!!)Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Yeah I was measuring 38 this week too - first time ever he's been spot on! MW said much the same, prob because a bit of the head is missing from the measuring.
Lol to the housework, I really need to do some hoovering but totally lack motivation. Going to get up and do some at 11, then pack my bag and eat, then leave the house and do some shopping, that's my planBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Well all OH ever does these days since Ive been on mat leave is hoovering so Ill be dammed if I do his only job lol (I do the washing, ironing and cooking every day)
I might attempt to tidy the sitting room we have lots of little things dotted around the room that could be put somewhere (Spare room is a dumping ground lol) and the book shelf looks messy lol I could tidy that
I think mams' aim was to keep me on my feet
I wanted to go to argos to get a gym ball but its peeing down and I don wany to get my hair cut and then for it to get wet either so I might have to hold off on that till tomorrrow?Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Ok so Ive managed to get off sofa and make a sausage sarnie and a cup of RLT
I think I might attempt to sort the kitchen out OMG lol we have a couple of cupboards that are a mess etc and the floor could do with a mop
And the coats and shoes need putting away, we got a cupboard built under our stairs for storage (and coats and shoes) and does OH ever put his things away NO lol
That cupboard needs sorting now cos it was also built so the pram can live in there, and there is NO way a pram would fit in it lolDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

I can't realy be bothered to move much today either. It's DH birthday today and we're out at Toby Carvery for tea, so at least I don't have to make tea! Though I am going to bake him a cake this aft. Watching homes under the hammer lol.
Hope it stops raining soon!:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0
