I repacked my labour bag earlier. Most of the baby stuff is in the side pocket so i have more room in the main section for my stuff lol.
I aim to be out on the 6 hour discharge so i wont need to take much into hospital for the baby
Do you know you get a shower after the baby is born? Would it be weird if i took my razor and shaved my legs? I hate the feeling of stubble so it would make me more comfy
Ohh I am totally not aiming for that, I want to stay in a little while make sure I can breast feed etc

Scrounge stuff off relatives! Ebay is your friend, as id freecycle and the local freeads might have a bundle of stuff you can pick up cheap! and sell other stuff to fund the new baby stuff.
I've got rid of everything twice and had to buy it all again!!!
ETA.. remember how little of everything you do actually need.. they do not need hundreds of outfits and a sleepsuit for every day of the year!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Local searches on ebay are good you can choose how many miles you are prepared to travel
Free local ad papers can be cheap
Bootsales are fab you can google one in your local area
Freecycle is always worth a look
Scout round friends & relatives that have recently had babies ( they grow out of stuff so fast )
HTHBusy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
Hi all, wow what a lot to catch up on! General hugs, vibes and welcomes to all. Well CAFC on your hard work, the room looks nice, bet you can't wait for artworks to go up too.
Well, I have a very naughty baby indeed! Had our scan at 9 this morning, and it took two 1/2 hours and 3 attempts to get the pictures cos bubs had decided to curl up into the smallest squashed ball ever. So, we had to get up and walk around, come back, try again, and repeat, and even then bubs was not into cooperating! So, I didn't get my flash after all so we're definately team yellow.

I hate to break it to you EA, but even with the most straight-forward of labours you will not feel like shaving your legs afterwards! You'll just be grateful not to be covered in sweat and gunk anymore!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
I'm looking at st Mary's, Manchester if anyone has any dealings there I'd be more than appreciative?
No experience but I had the choice of St Mary's or Wythenshawe (should have been Trafford really) but I've gone with Wythenshawe as I think it should be easier to get to from where we are. I haven't heard anything bad about either of them though
WOOOOOOO huge congrats Twinkles - what a lovely name. Can't wait to see pics
When can I start drinking RLT? I'm 30 weeks now....must look up all the stuff about calcium and EPO as well and decide what I'm going to do.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
