We went to tesco express to get Taco's and they dont sell them, only fajitas. So we had them. But we made so much we both feel sick lol.

But i got some mini eggs and some 7UP sugar free :D
Oh and a chicken and stuffing sandwich reduced to 95p :D

I want a bath but OH wont go and turn on the hot water for me :(:p

Gym - I thought 1/5 engaged means he's almost there? I was 4/5 engaged at my last appointment and need to get to 0/5 engaged before she's in fully

Well it wasn't my waters that went earlier, i did a few squats and checked the sanitary towel and it was dry... So i wee'd a little... :o:o:o:o:o

Some do it the other way EA, mine does it where 5/5 is not in much 1/5 would be fully engaged at my MW as well, you'd think they'd do it the same everywhere lol

Well I made Toad In The Hole for our tea which was lush, we had it with mash and gravy and then I fell asleep straight away.

All pains have stopped for now.

    Hello ladies

Can't believe none of you have had any babies yet! What's the betting we get 3 all on the same day?

We started putting the border up in the nursery yesterday, going to finish it tonight before the carpet comes on Wed. It looks fab and has such a nice ambience.....I want to sleep in there :)

A girl at work asked me if I need a baby bath (which I do!) so she's bringing in a classic pooh bath and top and tail bowl for me....very chuffed as my nursery is all classic pooh!

Does anyone know (Som maybe?) if I can use the printable 10% off mothercare voucher in conjunction with the 20% off that's already on the classic pooh stuff? I want the lampshade and fleece blanket. DH isn't happy about me spending £14 on a lampshade but it's so cute and I can't find any other classic pooh lampshades anywhere else.

Off to read SJ's birth story now (Alfie is gorgeous and making me want my little man now!!!)

Lots of labour vibes to all who need them.

Thanks. I'm so glad Alfie is here and well and glad he never got distressed throughout it all but I can't hlep but feel sad an disappointed about having to transfer in to hospital. Def on for homebirth next time though!

Ace birth story SarahJoanne - when did you find the time to write it all as well :T Just wondering which hospital you had Alfie in in the end. I'm in Leeds too, I had my 12 week scan at the LGI and I must say I thought it was really scummy, dead dirty. My experiences of St James' though aren't great either.

Don't know if you'll ever see this really... ;)

I had 2 of mine at LGI and while the building was/is in dire need of renovating the attitude of the staff was wonderful they were helpful, supportive, polite and above all.. they were human beings!! Both went into NICU and the staff in there were equally amazing. They explained everything and listened to any questions we had however silly.

For the excellent service they provided I'd put up with manky decor and blood on the ceiling (yes there was when I had DS2.. it had been redecorated when I had DS3)

I'm looking at st Mary's, Manchester if anyone has any dealings there I'd be more than appreciative?

Thanks for that, that was my experience of the LGI too: lovely staff but manky beyond belief. The air con was even sucking air from where the smokers were outside right into the centre of the building! I'd just worry that munchkin would catch something in an environement like that :(

When was it you were there? I had mine there years ago.. '96 and '99..

I may have to add the postnatal ward was not so good as the antenatal or delivery.. but by then you are too tired to care lol.

They were amazingly supportive of breastfeeding too.. especially prem babies.. I had a steriliser with pump in my room before I got up from delivery to the postnatal ward!
