Hobo - thanks for that, i'll maybe pop into the next town tomorrow, the poundland we have here is small and i didn't see the plastic sheeting there today.
CAFC - well done on the move, the room's looking great! Glad its all working out well for you! Enjoy your new home!

Thanks all....
Havent even started uploading the photos of the clothes I've got LOL
Found (when unpacking) a boots gift card still attached to the card so took it in to check the balance (if any) had £20 on itso bought a blue and white spotty changing mat for £5.99.... effectively making it free because I had no idea about the gift card
Looks like I'll just have boring rubbish to buy now when Im bigger, like nappies, breast pads etc....
Need to book my next m/wife appointment in a week or so too..... feeling a bit disconnected lately though, which has weirded me out, was telling DH a bit of how I felt earlier when we were walking. He sees it all as a big adventure and is much better at coping with newness than I am..... told him having Little L scares me.... being more pregnant, giving birth, being a parent, whats gonna happen to our relationship etc..... scary scary stuffWealth is not measured by currency0 -

Thanks confuzzled, hope it made sense!
I have to say I am very much enjoying getting back to normal bladder function!!
Typical though when I was in labour the MW wnated me to go pee on some stick, and I couldn't go. I thought it was funny that for 9 months I'd been peeing every 30 minutes then when I actually needed to go I couldn't! I actually didn't go at all during labour so had to have a catheter in to empty my bladder while I was still at home.0 -
Kindof - in terms of dtd with a sore pelvis you just have to see how it goes. Sometimes its just a no go and other days its just a lil uncomfy, well IMO. Oh no hoovering, dont think OH has let me whole pg but then he is king of the house work round here hehe. As for being induced, its not what I want but docs dont tell you these things for no reason so I would go with their recomendation as to whats best for bubs and me.
Maureen - I have a waterproof sheet on my bed at the mo, its from tesco too £4 for a double and its fitted. Alternatively you have shower curtains, Asda do one for 99p. Fajhitas sound delish, espically with the sour cream
pokey - lots of big fat natural labour vibes for you x
CAFC - woohoo! good to have you backThats so cute that you get puppy back on Mothers day, cant think of a better pressie (well other than a baby hehe). Am so jelous of your nursery, its coming together nicely, cant wait to get a two bed.
EA - your sex on the ball comment nearly made me spray RLT all over the monitor! Anyhoo, good luck with the eviction plan, you'll have Lily before I have my lil princess at this rate, as am not doing much in the way of eviction! Tho did find some tinned pineapple I may nom later, but I dont believe in any of it tbh. Maybe you should call MW to get checked out incase it is your waters! Love the T btw
SJ - will read your BS later got get ready to go to the hospital in a mo and drop of this sample.
Right OH called to say he has a food safety test to do at work so will be late! Need to get my butt in gear and shower and dress. Been sat watching SmallvilleBut have to take this sample to hospital, joy!

Hi everyone, haven't had a chance to read back yet so... labour vibes to any that need it, huge hugs to anyone in need, and hi to everyone else!
Well, first day of the 5 weeks holiday I've booked off before maternity leave starts, and it's chaos as always. Managed to coincide first day with DD being off nursery for a staff training day, so we've been out to Bicton Gardens this morning to sork off some energy, and this evening I've managed to get us half price tickets to see the Princess and the Frog - hopefully should be good!
Baby brain hasn't improved at all. I've got a funny feeling that I've managed to get two midwife appointments by mistake this week - tomorrow and Thursday, but I now can't find my notes anywhere to check. I'm sure I put them somewhere safe, where I wouldn't lose them.....Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Kindof - I dont think i will iron her clothes lol. Whilst hanging them over the radiator to dry the creases dropped out
Som - Apparently tinned pinapple doesn't work, it has to be fresh. Something about the emzynes being killed off in the tinning processBecause bromelain is destroyed in the production process of canned pineapple, you should consume only fresh pineapple
What do you think me and OH should have for dinner? Taco's or PIzza hut?0
